Would you do it if it was "allowed"? I really don't get your argument. You say you wouldn't cheat on your wife and you love her very much, but it sounds like the only reason you're not screwing around is because it's not " allowed". What about your wife's feelings? If she'd ask you not to go fuck around even though it's allowed, would you do it? And why would you want it to be allowed if you wouldn't ever do it?

well isn't THAT the REAL issue. it IS allowed, right now. there is NO law that says you cannot have sexual relations with numerous people after mariage. sure, it can be used in divorce proceedings, it IS socially frowned upon, etc. but there ARE fringe groups/couples who live this very lifestyle. beyond that, we also know of the numerous people who DO so with their partners none the wiser. so it really comes down to is wanting it BE 'socially acceptible'.....so he just can.

hell, 200 years ago i was more than likely the norm for men to bed as many women as they like, even after marriage...while the wives turned a blind eye, and/or didn't care. w/o birth control being tied to the home, no social or financial rights of their own...the wife more than likely married to a man she didn't love in any case, she was probably happpy for the break. now that we more often than not marry for LOVE.....and there IS much more equality in relationships, women have choice and can leave......fidelity has gained more and more acceptance and to be 'expected.' so yes....today is WAY better imo.

but that 'allowing' factor...is still there...you just need to respet your partner and ASK, preferably before you marry

.....and either have an open marriage or one of fidelity...depending what you BOTH want, or choose another partner. simple.

The last two pages are entirely too serious. The guy is obviously not going to cheat on his wife. He's just like "ALL" other guys. Yes, even the magical guys that some of you lady jammers married. We are all human. We all have desires (even if they are well hidden). And when a guy sees a hot chick walking down the street, he may think to himself.... wow I'd like to do her. That doesn't mean he would. Girls, obviously, may think the same.

Bottom line, if he was presented with an open invite from his wife to bang any chicka he wanted, I'm betting he wouldn't. I know that I wouldn't. But, that doesn't mean I (he) don't think it would be fun (hence the point of the thread). I think it would have a cost (hurting my wife) and that cost is not worth it.
