Well I still work out in the gym, I just don't do long outdoor runs. I'm not making excuses because I would rather have a day of running than go to the gym every single day. there's only a few types of weather I don't run in:
-really heavy rain
-ICE
-above 80
-below 250 -

I have been pretty healthy all week, I only worked out on Monday, I also have not been into it this week but if I eat real healthy I am okay with it. Tonight I felt like being a pig so my daughter and i had Pizza, Fries and cookies. And.....I am killing a Bottle of wine alone. The wife is taking her staff to dinner.

For me anything more than 10 minutes is just burning extra calories. I'm only running just to keep my heart muscle strong.. I don't need to burn any calories. I'm already thin.0 -

I actually felt really sick by the time I got home- bad heart burn and a head ache (probably due to my wonderful boss). So I'll be neither drinking nor working out. I'm just waiting for it to be late enough to feasibly go to sleep!0 -

ugh crap workout today. I went to the gym to do 30 minutes of cardio and lower body. I get there and it's PACKED but I'm not really too worried, so I get a treadmill and run for 30 minutes. I get off to go lift...the place is just a zoo, I know I'm not going to be able to get anything useful done. So I wait a while for a cardio machine of some kind to open up, and I ended up doing 30 minutes on the elliptical. Then I did deadlifts, but they didn't seem right for some reason. I think I felt too boxed in and couldn't move freely enough. I wanted to get the hell out of there, so I came home to do a new ab video I got...what a disaster. It was all pilates-like stuff. Am I the only one who can't do this pilates stuff? I never have a clue what they are talking about! (also, the rug hurts!!!)
so work out...did not go well...1 hour of cardio, some deadlifts, and some failed attempts at some pilates moves.0 -

Five, one minute full speed rounds on heavy bag.
Three rounds on Speed bag.
12 Dips, three times.
Stand up one arm chest press.
Started to workout arms but got distracted.

I get my lift in at lunchtime (I eat later while working). It's great. It's convenient, doesn't affect my time outside of work hours, and elevates my mood & energy for the 2nd half of the day. If you can do this, then I strongly recommend it.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0

In warmer weather I do (I run - everything else bores me so I go with what I know I'll do consistantly), but I have slacked on the cardio since summer 2006.
I do circuits/minimal rest period during lifting, so I get some cardio in while lifting through that. My heart rate is up during much of it. It's not enough to replace a great cardio workout like running, though.
When it warms, I'll take the dog running and get the cardio piece I'm missing. I'm good on the lifting and decent on the diet.....on that alone, I'm down to 167lbs, and I'm 6' tall.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0
