the doppelganger episode with xander's other self. the way he kept playing with that coin from which we were to deduce that these two xanders were two sides of the same coin.

giles as a fyarl demon. priceless.

when angelus(love him!!!) kills jenny and giles goes after him in a rage. and buffy goe to stop him and tell giles she can't do it without him. and she's crying. and giles is crying. and i'm crying in my hot chocolate.

I love OZ! He made the show for a while. Seth Green actually said he wanted to leave the show because his character was getting too popular! Crazy! lol But he said that the more popular OZ got the more his character had to change. He liked OZ being sorta the off on the sidelines... man of few words type dude, and the more popular he got the less he could do that. But he was the best werewolf ever!

In that episode Doppelganger it was really nice to see Kelly actually get some lines. He'd stood in for Nick when Nick had been sick and stuff before, but never got billing for it. Sometimes it's cool to have an identical twin.

I've always had issues with that whole, "I have no breath." line of Angel's. We've seen him breathing! Spike smokes! Maybe he doesn't HAVE to breath, but he obviously CAN! lol

Absolutely! It's just one of those little flubs in the story that requires hours and and hours of intense discussion by Buffy fan's all over the world. <-- something I quite enjoy participating in!

I saw an episode of Angel the other day. I think it may have been the series finale? Thats a cool show...

Here are the details....

They were all fighting monsters everywhere and then they met in a alley at the end and monsters coming at them with a dragon.

i was not pleased with TPTB on that day....good thing smallville and supernatural are on other stations an hr later....its too bad UPN didnt pick up Angel like they did buffy.....

We're into Season Four now and the wife is approaching Rabid Fan Status. She couldn't wait to tell me when she found out that Joss has been writing a Season Eight comic book. Yeah, she's a little behind in the news category, but I couldn't squash her enthusiasm by letting on...

We watched Beer Bad earlier this week and I couldn't help but laugh out loud before some of the dialogue, especially Willow's in several cases. I knew it was coming and couldn't hold back:

Giles: I can't believe you served Buffy that beer.
Xander: I didn't know it was evil.
Giles: You knew it was beer.
Xander: Well, excuse me, Mr. 'I spent the sixties in an electric-kool-aid-funky-Satan groove.'
Giles: It was the early seventies and you should know better.


Buffy: I'm suffering the afterness of a bad night of... badness.
Willow: You didn't. Not with Parker again.
Buffy: No. with four really smart guys.
Willow: Four? Oh... ow. Oh, Buffy, are you OK? Do you want to talk about it?
Buffy: I went to see Xander. Then I saw Parker. Then came... beer.
Willow: And then group sex?
Buffy: Pffft... gutterface. No! Just lots and lots of beer.


And the episode ends with Buffy clubbing Parker over the head all cavewoman-style. Masterful!

So MD, I know I've been rather sporadic in terms of participating in this thread. Feel like a bit of a dick coz I'm struggling to get to the DVD's and catch up and re immerse myself in all things Buffy and Angel.

But I did just want to say, thank you soooo much for starting the thread in the first place.

I'll keep reading and hopefully some time soon, I'll be able to have a Buffy/Angel fest and might actually have something interesting to contribute!!
