Anyone LOVE where they live?

I really like where I live. A few blocks from Pike Place, about 1/2 mile from the center of downtown, a block from Elliott Bay, near some nice places to eat, next to a big sculpture park, a 42" plasma, a wine rack, a football shaped cooler on the deck, guitars on the wall, good friends, wireless internet, great visitors, and a beautiful woman.....I couldn't ask for anything more.0

Live in a small apartment in NYC (which apartments aren't small, right?). Couldn't be happier. Not only are the available activities not like anywhere else (recently in one week I went to Letterman, The Opera at Lincoln Center, a Mets game, and a stand-up comedy show where the performers were in the nude) but also the ability to make a lot of $$$ to enjoy the activities is all around you. The city is always buzzing, and I can't recommend it strongly enough to anyone who has ever considered living here!"The leads are weak!"

I hate where I live. The college town here is boring as fuck... there's literally nothing to do off-campus save for going to the shitty local movie theatre. I don't understand how anyone could want to live here if they're not here for college. It's terrible, and the weather is pretty bad too.
Back home isn't much better. It's just a boring middle class suburban neighborhood. It's nice and pleasant, but it's not really for me.
I would LOVE to live in Manhattan someday. Hopefully I can get into NYU for graduate school and live there afterwards if I like it as much as I think I will. It's a town full of losers and I'm pulling out of here to win0

I love living in Chicago. I have a cute loft with 11 foot ceilings and an awesome roof top deck. I absolutely love bucktown, the neighborhood i live in.
I do wish i had a dishwasher and a/c in the summer. But I still love it0

That reminds me, I have to cancel my Cali-pride lessons for this week. I have finals this week for my Loathe-Detroit class, and I have to pass. Will reschedule for sometime next week. Oh, and this time can we skip over how damn happy your friggin' cows are?!?!?"The leads are weak!"

Not right now - yesterday we had snow, now it's flippin pouring down rain, my basement is leaky, and they're saying we're going to have high winds...
Otherwise, Seattle is awesome!"Trial and error isn't a bad way to learn how to build an aircraft, but it can be a disastrous way to learn how to build a civilization..."0

i think if i ever had a massive breakdown, id move abroad.
even older and settled, i think i want to leave the uk.
London is a weird and wonderful place. At times it grinds you down, sometimes it inspires. But my area is a craphole. I love it and have lived here all my life, but its got progressively shittier here over the past decade.0

Girl are you smokin crack? Crisp and 70?
I just built a house last year and love it. It's not totally finished yet, but it's more than I could have ever asked for. I live within an hour of boston, providence, hartford, springfield, worcester, new haven, but in a small new england colonial town. and within 1 1/2 hour of the ocean. hot summers, cold winters, spring fever, cool fall tailgating days, and I make the most out of it.I love to turn you on0

reschedule granted. Now please study the California Mission Architecture style as it was manifested during the 30's revival period.Steve Dunne wrote:Girl are you smokin crack? Crisp and 70?
nope - brrrr it was cold this morning! I think it was in the low 60's!! but the sun was out - it just wasn't working...I am hoping that the temp doesnt turn up too much tho - since that would mean another red flag alert. thanks. It was really very iffy with the rain...mudslides are a danger now too...and there is talk that with the clouds blowing out and a drop in humidity - red flag is prolly a matter of time.
