Overall it's a nice arena, but there are some flaws to the place:

1.The concession lines are no better than in the CAA.

2.The seats in the second level are deceiving. There are only 14 rows on seats in the sections behind the nets, but in reality if you sit in the last few rows like I did last night, you're no closer to the ice than the top rows at the old building.

    3. There's virtually no leg room at all in those seats. I've had more space on crappy coach seats in airplanes.

    4. While nothing to do with the building itself, the security there had no clue last night. A huge brawl nearly broke out mid-way through the third period a few sections to the right of us. While that cooled down, they sent one security guard to keep an eye on a few hundred people, didn't eject anybody, so of course five minutes later a huge fight occurred that ended up with three guys needing EMS help.

    5. It's also amazing that they put the press box area virtually on the roof of the arena, worst seats in the house!

I've heard about that (number 5) from some people who have been there, that seems to be a trend with some of these new buildings. I think it's also the case in Philadelphia and Los Angeles.

I assume concession prices are similar to any other arena also?

IMO lastnight wasn't really a HARD fought game, so i don't see it being too much of an issue.

you kow philly is going to come out physical, so the rangers must respond right away.

this is a funny little blip i just read off the Blueshirt Bulletin

And how about those Leafs? Surely they can find a way to blame Avery for one of their players posting nude photos of himself on the internet and another (the inimitable Wade Belak, he of the "kill Sean Avery" remark) admitting he takes the trash out naked. Well, maybe they can't blame Avery for all that, but they can blame him for losing -- for losing at least that one game against the Rangers. As they sink toward draft lottery land, mark my words -- they will win the first overall pick, and the league will allow John Tavares to enter this year's draft.

The Flyers fell asleep in the 2nd Period before Briere's Goal

I knew the Flyers were doomed in a shootout

We meet 6 more times I think, we'll be back !!

    LET'S GO FLYERS !!!

Edit : How bad were some of those calls last night on both sides ?
