    I'm assuming that when someone goes to describe another person, in general, if the person is of the same race as themselves, they do not need to specify race.
    Having just spoken with the police, Malcolm X had probably just given a description and that was still in his brain.

    Is it racist for me to notice that most immigrants in Dublin seem to all live in certain areas. Regardless of race, if you have groups of more than likely poor and not so fortunate people (as immigrants tend to be) living in the one area and not integrating... well you're GONNA have social problems. It's the governments who try to get everyone all fucking PC... cos if political correctness means you can't address social issues... well it means THEY don't have to do anything about it.

    This stuff really fucking annoys me. MCKB had great points... I mean when I had my phone and money robbed from my office a couple of years ago, I completely discriminated against ALL thieves and hated them all and would have supported the Islamic way of chopping their hands off... I know it was wrong of me to place all thieves in the 'bad' basket :o but I was angry and couldn't help how I was feeling at the time... but I did wash my mouth out with soap and water and said 240 hail marys and attended counselling for three years and now I love thieves :)

    It's not the same thing Helen and you know it. The police needed a description, we don't. He didn't tell us the guy was black so we would look out for him, he told us he was black so we would look out for all blacks. I'm not saying Malcolm is racist, he's clearly not given his username, and I feel sorry for him but he did start this thread asking our opinions about whether he was being racist right now and if it was justified. Don't forget that. People didn't just wage in with their liberal guns cocked. He asked if it was ok, he got responses.
