That was just Eli being Eli :D
Eli takes a lot of shit and when he does he deserves it, but consider this:
He's taken the Giants to the playoffs every year hes started and he has a Super Bowl (along with the MVP) way before Peyton did. Plus hes doing a lot better than several other number 1 overall picks (one of which is the backup to the giants lol). He definitely deserves shit for last night's performance, but he now has the chance to rebound.

Haha about San Diego. Well it looks like he made the right call- since then the G Men have a championship and San Diego doesn't. And San Diego got a good QB too so they shouldn't care anymore.

And only have as respectable as his brother? Why?

  • Some rumors about flying about Tony Gonzalez wanting to be traded to NYG. I wouldn't be opposed but im not dying for this to happen. I like Boss though he's really been quiet.

Random,....I just saw Lavar Arrington here in NYC. Damn he's still a beast. When he was healthy he rocked. I told him he should come back to NYG he didn;t say No!!

After how he played for us (when he actually did play) why would you want him back? :)

I meant when he was at his best. Like the 2 qtrs he played in Dallas before getting hurt again. Obvioulsy i know its not possible.

    Anyway....
I hope the Giants secondary steps it up a notch or 3 now having to deal with TO and Roy Williams.

what happened between Plax and Coach?

much as I like the guy I am starting to believe all the shit they were saying about him in Pittsburgh, being a distraction and all.

At least we have plenty of WR's in case he doesnt come back and I think Manningham has potential to be pretty good in a yr or 2

Plax had a horrible PI call against him. The next play he mouthed off to the ref and got a 15 yard penalty. When he was running off the field Coughlin said something like...what the hell are you doing? The papers said Plax fired back...I do what the F i want. Then manning and another coach came and cooled him off.

Willie Parker and Santonio Holmes are out. But the scary part of Pitt is their D. Specifically the LB's!

Huge win for the G-Men today. Especially considering the other 3 NFC East Teams won earlier in the day. Parker and Holmes were out, but their backups played well. So I'm pretty sure that didn't have too great of an effect on the outcome of the game. It was a very fun game to watch- I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch in February :).

As a Steelers fan I would say the outcome hinged on Big Ben tossing 4 ints! But I did like that goalline stand in the 2nd quarter

What was James Butler doing on that touchdown pass? There probably wouldn't be a touchdown if he tackles him there. But instead he runs away from the receiver. Lucky our defense stepped up today.

  • The Offense was extremely frustrating BUT got it done. As much as I F'n hate field goals, gotta hand it to Carney for always nailin ' em.
Sick Defense. On both side really. Pitt D was extremely impressive but in the end Giants D prevailed. Another shout out to the Giants O line. Eli was barely touched by the sick Pitt pass rush and LB's!

Not pretty but a GREAT WIN!
