we couldn't convert 3rd downs. That's what really hurt us. It could've been 20-0 Giants.

awwwwwww......i think i hurt this giants fans feelings. i didnt mean to add insult to injury. i mean it was a pretty weak performance by your squad today.

oh, and i guess you didnt realize the birds could be just a half game out of the playoffs if the cowboys lose today. i would LOVE to play the giants again come january!

    GO BIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're right, the Giants sucked today. On both sides of the field. But every team is allowed an off week or two.

And we're still the team to beat, and you're still trying to drag yourselves into the playoffs.

So congrats for today. But good luck w/the rest of the season cause I get the feeling the Eagles are going to be needing a lot more luck than the Giants.

That's what some people are making it seem like. I think the Phillies winning the world series has made some people delusional.

    exactly.

like i said, the only "luck" the eagles need is for the falcons to lose one more game. and they have two tough games coming up.

then we control our own destiny to get in....sounds similar to your run last year...............

Yea, the difference is, the Giants last year were a much better team than the Eagles this year. You guys might definitely make the playoffs, just don't count on going very far.

    Eagles. Duh.

If your team wins the world series it retroactively makes all your sports teams the defending world champs.

Wow. A rough one for us. Giants looked oofffff. Somehow i feel games like this are good for this team every once in awhile. Hixon dropping that bomb for 6 really set the tone for that game.

When Westbrook has a day and McNabb does his job the birds are tough. Though,...in 3 weeks they are still going home and they still TIED the bengals. Hahhaha.
    We still own the division.

It's more that alot of things are going right for the Eagles now. If Tampa had beaten the Raiders. They wouldn't have gone in. ANd they didn't play that good against Minnesota last week. But they won. But I'm always nervous. I'm a pessimist.

As much as I cannot stand pulling for the Giants under almost any situation, please do your duty and keep the Eagles' streak alive this weekend.
