    Papelbon looked pretty nasty with the splitter this evening. Good to see the offense is clicking at least. Good win after an awful loss yesterday to Seattle.

    nope not happening. unfortunately i feel like the yanks are gonna win the penant this year (getting past detriot will be very hard though).

    I jinxed them. ha ha...

    They are in their first slump of the year. They will snap out of it. They got 7 left with NY...all is not lost.

    They are doing what the Yanks did about a month and half ago.

    No worries.

    Actually they have 9 left - a 5 game series next weekend and a 4 game series in September (each series has a double header).

    We didnt pick up players during the trade deadline and now we are paying for it. Some moves for next year are dump Trot Nixon's ass just like I said at the beginning of the year. I am wishing the rumor was true of us getting Andruw Jones,that would have been sweet. I hate to say it but it might be time getting ready for football.

    yep, we definitely do. but so do the yankees, because their pitching takes a beating on a daily basis. theyre just outhitting people. they wont make it in the playoffs.
