I would like to think Otriz does. He took a huge pay cut to stay. I love that guy (see the link in my sig..all smiles).
Well, we know that Arroyo does. He took a paycut and then got the shaft and was traded. So much for the hometown discount.

I agree with Damon. Boston fucks its stars. The Yankees still let Bernie hang around and pay him for it for Christ sake!

Sox had argueably the best pitcher in baseball in Pedro and they let him go (biggest mistake thus far...he is still awesome and Sox fans love this guy). Damon...let him go. Manny...want to get rid of him. Clemens, let him go. Arroyo as you mentioned. Bill Mueller...why? Nomar. Cabrera, let him go. Boggs. The list goes on and on. They got the $ to keep these guys too....dont be fooled.

Can we actually score some runs tonight for Wakefield? I mean, come on guys, his ERA is 3.89 and he's 1-4! The bats have got to come alive for him. It's getting ridiculous.

Well, the bats were alive last night and helped Wakefield get his second win, 9-3. About time they gave him some support.

Welcome to the thread. I'm trying to keep this thing alive. I'm just getting frustrated by the activity on the Cubs thread but not here. Invite your friends.

Any 14-3 Sox win in a game started by Randy Johnson is a great day in my opinion! Keep rolling!

Manny is back in the zone. Dude is ripping seeds all over the field.
Beckett looked good. Had some great stuff last night. Made Bernie look like a fool, then Bernie made himself look like a fool.

Sox lose to Yanks as Schilling has meltdown last night. Hoping tonight the bats come alive for longer than the first couple innings. Looks like we know the real Sox fans here. Just wait until mid-September and this thread will start humming as the playoffs approach. Kinda sad.

That would make my year if we got Roger back. He's been my idol since I was 6 years old or so. I wore #21 all the way through Little League and high school. I really want to have a reason to buy a #21 Sox jersey.

Philly's been hot lately, should be a good IL series this weekend.
