Actually every team does this or tries to in one form or another. It dates back to having a guy with binoculars on the sideline trying to catch the opponents signal. The Pats are just a bit more high tech. And Mangini was the one who instituted the use of the camera when he was with NE, how do you think he knew exactly what to tell the league they'd find.
Funny he didn't mention the guy on his side of the field attempting the same thing.
He was just a whiny fattletale after his team got whomped, so he figured he'd try and save face by making it look like his team lost for reasons other than being outclassed on the field and sidelines. You'll soon hear about other instances of this, previously it was an unwritten bit of gamesmanship, now 31 head coaches are gonna be pissed at Mangini for breaking the code cause he was upset at getting drubbed.

Whats the difference between this and all the polaroids Peyton Manning and others use?

Be intresting to see what the penalty for this is, could be a few draft picks or more. The NFL will take this very seriously due to the fact the other owners will be very upset if the Pats cheating could have cost thier teams wins and or playoff spots.
