yeah, because it's the team that's been the most dominant over the past 6 years. If it was the Raiders or Browns cheating, it'd just be laughable. but when the best team in the league is guilty of something like this. it makes you wonder if they've been doing anything else illegal to get an advantage. what else could they be guilty of? steroids? well I guess Rodney Harrison would make that one a 'yes.' bribing refs? poisoning the opponents locker room? who knows? I've seen the Dolphins walk out of the locker room in Gillette Stadium on more than one occasion clearly under the influence of something. who knows what that evil genius Belichick has them doing behind the scenes

You've hit the nail on the head and it's driven through the board.

Yes and it was against the beloved J E T S @ home. Again they have all the chance in the world when ever they play the Patriots @ Gillette Stadium. If they crush the Patriots bring back this thread and gloat till ya turn green.

you have to be naive to think this doesnt go on
or that steroids dont go on in baseball, inside betting in basketball etc....

I dont agree with what they did .. dont get me wrong

i never said they were the only team doing it.

we all remember this from 2nd grade, just because other people are doing it doesnt make it right. they got caught. they will be punished to send an example to the rest of the league. not to mention they happen to have been quite good over the recent years.

reading through, i dont see where anyone said they were the only team.

next time someone steals your car, just remember tha tother people have done it too. doesn tmake it right. it is still wrong.

  • Don't get me wrong here I despise the Pats, being a fan of the shitty Bills I would love nothing more then to see our AFC East rivals suffer but come on your trying to tell not every team does this. well they do the only difference is that they got caught.

Well if we learned anything around here yesterday (which is quite doubtful) its that there is a big difference from one drug addiction to another, at least terminology-wise.

i can't wait to hear Belichick's "interpretation" of the rules

although i doubt we'll hear the full story... and definitely not BBs side of things

I just wish the punishment would come down already

he is a fake bum yea mastermind,, lol right

i could be one also if i knew what was coming

i think the jets should of run a play towards the sideline and the knocked the shit out of the camera guy b4 taking the tape,, that would of been great

i would say no... it was one aspect of planning for a game and executing

i don't know that anyone can say how big of a role it played

we're playing a tough san diego team this week...

if we smoke them... then it won't matter

if they smoke us or win at all ... then it will become a bigger story

stealing signs has nothing to do with acquiring and training the right players

and what if everyone does it? then they're all bums?

i hear that in your area some people think Mangina is the bum for being a snitch

i'd rather be a thief than a snitch

  • The worst thing about this is how overblown it has become. Its definately wrong, but I really doubt it has as big of an impact as everyone is making it out to be. Especially people who dont really follow Football or know much about it who all seem to have an opinion on this.

It is wrong. I'm not arguing that.

But for the commish to send a letter to all teams to not do it? Well then it sounds like a widespread issue. Like everyone was doing it.

As to why the Pats were so arrogant to ignore that letter. Well I don't know. That sounds stupid.

But for people to say that the 3 SuperBowl wins are now tainted. That's just stupid.

I can see the point that if you knew what was coming that it would give you an advantage. But I highly doubt that only the Patriots were the ones trying to steal signs. Like in baseball.

From what I've been able to gather, Belichick's interpreatation (or excuse) is he thought you couldn't film and use the film during that particular game. His claim is it was gonna be for study for the next matchup.

Which is what's funny about what all the Jets fans and others are saying about how the film helped the Pats beat the Jets...Mangina had the tape seized at the end of the first half, Belichick and staff never saw it. The filming done on Sunday had nothing to do with the events on the field at the Meadowlands, yet so many are saying the Pats knew what was coming thats why they won. The Jets got their asses kicked, without help from the videotape.
