    All true.

Romo is a little worry for me right now. The big worry is the defense. Too many times this year they have run around like they didn't know what the play was. The confusion was on display yesterday. Luckily, it was the Bengals and luckily, they got a couple of turnovers (especially that fumble late in the game).

You know only Cowboys fans can bitch about winning and being 4-1 right? :)
Sure they put up a lot of points, but for some reason I am not confident in them yet.

Romo making a great play but then having the ball slip out of his hands....check
    Romo with an interception....check
Defense looking lost on many plays....check

a wins a win but I think they should have won with a little more confidence yesterday.
I think Romo will become a great QB in the years to come...but right now, I would say he is just a little above average. Hopefully a playoff win will do the trick.

In September we think we know something, in October we realize we know nothing. I'll give NYG credit for what they've done, I still don't think they have the real deal, but they are putting it all together. Not to long ago, I had a short list of what looked to be the top teams this year.... I totally discard that now. We know nothing. Dallas could be up there, but coulda shoulda woulda whatever.
absolutely. In a few weeks another team can emerge and be top dog and the favs go on a 5 game losing slide. Or like Washington..who expected them to start like this

The Giants are just doing what they should be doing and thats putting the lesser teams away and putting W's up and looking pretty good while doing it. Looks like its gonna be a Cowboys/Redskins/Giants battle in this division. Philly once again looks done unfortunately

Yeah, I'm more worried about Newman than anything. You could tell he didn't look right when he came back for that Washington game because he never gets burned like that. We'll see.

Maybe there will be a corner for trade before the deadline.

Pacman - whatever. I wish he wasn't here but because of Newman, we are stuck with him and he isn't that great to begin with.

Terence Newman underwent surgery for his abdominal strain. projected to be back after the bye week (@ Washington) and will most likely miss the first game against the Giants. hopefully he can recover quickly.

That sucks. And we are still without Roy Williams and Pat Watkins.

The Cardinals are missing most of their secondary too on Sunday, or at least they are listed as questionable.

This is libel to be a shootout.

I think I read that Roy is expected to play next week. don't know what the deal with Watkins is.

it's no longer the coaches. it's the players. I don't know what to think of Romo anymore. Our "big bad O-Line" is soft as hell. pathetic game. embarrassing loss. I don't give a fuck about it anymore.

Any day now T.O will blow a gasket...it was only a matter of time before he throws Romo under the bus..congrat Dallas...you will now see the real T.O that us Philadelphians saw in 2005

  • what a fucking disaster. Even Folk missing a chip shot (although he redeemed himself later with the 52 yarder...still love him on the team). Romo needs to stop doing whatever the hell he is doing before the game because he CANNOT hold on to the damn ball. It seems for every great play he makes, there is 2 pathetic plays. A blocked punt for the win? wtf.... TO looks like he is ready to explode. I am sure this is what every non-dallas fan was waiting for. Hopefully they destroy the Rams and get some confidence back

I thought 13-3, but now looks more like 10-6

This thing can be pinned squarely on the the offensive line and the special teams.

Opening kickoff for a TD? Never happened to the Cowboys before. A blocked punt for the win in overtime? Never in NFL history!! Both of those guys came completely free!

Romo got hit 19 times. 19!! Romo fumbles WAY too much but he was on his back, face, side, whatever the whole game.

    No running game whatsoever.

Marc Columbo, Flozell Adams, and Andre Gurode decided to all have the worst possible day all at the same time. Throw Leonard Davis in there too with that boneheaded spike. Columbo had two penalties and got beat numerous times. Adams could not deal with speed rushers who went right around him all day. Gurode looks at the ball on the ground like its a flower.

Just atrocious play from the OL. They were completely man-handled.

And for once, we can't pin this on the defense.

They lost to an Arizona team that did everything they could on offense to give the game away.

  • I am going to be pissed if Wade Phillips doesn't tear them a new one today. If he pulls out the "we made some mistakes, and need to improve, but blah blah....." he needs to wake the hell up.

WTF Romo yelling at gerode to snap the F(*&(*$ ball?!!!

Also, Romo needs to keep his chin up on the sidelines, he looks like he lost his puppy after one of his blunders. T.O. SHOULD be pissed ...at least he seems to give a shit (whether or not it is about him not getting ball or not)...the "Aw shucks" has got to stop.

Agreed.....and it all comes back from the laid back coaching staff. It's ridiculous. To tell you the truth, I was all for Garrett becoming the head coach after this season but now, I'm not so sure he just isn't a younger version of Wade. I see no emotion from anyone on that sideline, except TO. Pathetic.

ESPN reporting Romo to be out for 4 weeks with a broken pinkie on his throwing hand. Hopefully Brad can pull out wins against the Rams and Bucs and come out of this 6-3.
