I didn't think they were going 16-0 but they should have won. Washington just has our number. Defense looked lost and outplayed and Offense looked confused. TO taking handoffs? anything to get him the ball I guess.
On the bright side, at least with that horrible game they only lost by 2

You cant abandon the run while tied...you have to establish the run..Wade Philips should know better

I liked Aikman's take on everyone making a big deal about TO's effort last week. He said something like "What's the big deal - he gets paid millions of dollars, he SHOULD make the effort!" Kinda puts it all into perspective, no?

Yes. Aikman also called out the Cowboys defense as being unable to make a big stop when it counts. And for the lack of turnovers. He's right about that too.

you know... i've said this before many many many times. and i hope more people can start emphasizing a little on it. it's all mental. or if it's not that... the redskins simply have thee perfect playbook to make marion barber, tony romo, terrel owens and the rest of the cowboys team to play really bad! the cowboys simply do not have the mental toughness... they seem to play too loose and too confident in these kinds of games. and without mental preparation wheen they start realizing that there are other talented players in the nfl just as much as they are... they FREAK out! and play like shit... it's like gregg popovich from the spurs always says, "never underestimate your opponent!"

the redskins knew the talented team they were facing... and against all odds, even the "pros" were favoring the cowboys 38-16... (yep, that's exactly the score that espn predicted in cowboys favor) they didn't choke and were focused on nearly every single play... defensively and offensively. teams do that to each other... the 'skins beat the cowboys last year 24-6 in that last game at washington in hopes of making the playoffs.

cause seriously once a team shows up... these cowboys tend to freak out. they need to get themselves together.

I wouldn't say Dallas played like shit..........they just didn't put forth their best effort. As for always "freaking out" against good teams...they have had bad moments in the past, but already beat the Packers and Eagles (one of the highest rated teams) this season.

Problems with the game on the Sunday: Dallas's defense didn't show up, and there was no attempt to get a running game going. Marion Barber gets 8 carries? Felix Jones gets 0? Not a winning strategy. Redskins played tough, even though I still dont' buy into Jason Campbell.

Thats probably the most fair assesment I've seen.

You are exactly right. NO ONE was giving the redskins a prayer, even many of our local (DC) sportscasters. But every time you saw a 'skin interviewed, they said we have a chance on any given Sunday.

My point is the Redskins are well versed at being the underdog... and in a way there is probably less pressure that way. And a greater chance to surprise a team on their home turf.

Like I said, I LOVE to HATE the cowboys I won't knock the talent on the cowboys, but the redskins played with more heart on sunday, plain and simple.

Oh, and the Eagles swallow, lol.
