I was just getting psyched the team is almost healthy and then this happens. Obviously we can win without him and Choice will get more time now, I was just anticipating the 1-2 punch of F.Jones and Barber

Well, this e-mail I got today cheered me up:

The Philadelphia Police are cracking down on speeders heading into Philadelphia.
For the first offense, they give you two Eagle tickets.
If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them!

    Q. What do you call 47 millionaires around a TV watching the Super Bowl?
    A. The Philadelphia Eagles.

    Q. What do the Philadelphia Eagles and Billy Graham have in common?
    A. They both can make 70,000 people stand up and yell 'Jesus Christ'.

    Q. How do you keep the Philadelphia Eagles out of your yard?
    A. Put up a goal post.

    Q. Where do you go in Philadelphia in case of a tornado?
    A. To the Eagles Stadium - they never have a touchdown there!

    Q. What do you call a Philadelphia EAGLE with a Super Bowl ring?
    A. A thief.

    Q. What's the difference between the Philadelphia Eagles and a dollar bill?
    A. You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

    Q. How many Philadelphia Eagles does it take to win a Super Bowl?
    A. Nobody knows and we may never find out.

    Q. What do the Philadelphia Eagles and possums have in common?
    A. Both play dead at home and get killed on the road.

SF was just not giving up the run today were they?

The defense was solid, but I am not sure if that was a product of who they were playing. Although, SF has been a lot better lately. At times, they looked overwhelmed by the pass rush though. And that safety could not have been better timing.

The other team - um, wow. Over.

they did what they needed to do and that is win. I will take a "done" T.O. anyday. Looked like the D took some plays off, and the O took a little while to get in sync, but nice win and now we only have to wait 4 days to see them again. 2 down, 5 to go.
I asked a guy I coach little league with if he wants to get together for the Philliy game and he was like ...haha not this year. He doesn't really talk too much shit, though.

bring on the seahawks.....anyone want a Dallas Julius Jones jersey? I was going to take off the "j" and make a pacman jersey, but uh, changed my mind

not to get too ahead of ourselves, cause the seahawks played well against the redskins... i'm just hoping the cowboys beat them even more convincingly. and i'll be eating turkey while it's happening!!!

it's the steelers game i'm looking more foward to though.

but oh yes... once your team starts playing better the shit talkers always quit and leave. i wish they could stick around... win or lose. i do.

Nice win on Thanksgiving against a crappy team. The real test is the next game.

Side note: Took my 10 year old son to his first Cowboys game today. While wife and daughter were getting ready to go to grandma's he was asking why we weren't going with them. Told him I had a surprise. So we got in the car and drove to Texas Staduim instead. He was just beside himself. It was so much fun. We had great seats (won them on Ebay just this morning) and he just smiled the whole time. We went to grandma's for dinner after. Great, great day. I hope he remembers for a long time.

Surprises like that are always remembered. I can still remember to this day when i was 9 my Dad took me to a World Test Cricket match against India and I can still remember how sunburned I got.

    It was so awesome. :)

IF we win we get in...it's pretty simple. The NFC South has to play each other a bit before the end of the year so these things even out. It's kinda funny, last year the NFC East was not really that good, but played against a shitty division (AFC East where going 3-1 should have happened for all the teams) and got three teams in. Now the South gets to pound on the AFC West (3-1 would be a bad record this year) and they will get at least 2 playoff teams if not 3. I guess what I am saying is that if you are a betting person this is a good thing, because you should be able to rake in the loot by taking anyone who plays a team from the NFC South in the playoffs this year.

How is that bullshit? The rules are set before the season begins and conference records obviously matter. Atlanta deserves to be in the playoffs up to this point and the Cowboys don't. I still think the Cowboys will make it, but if they don't because of their conference record, that's their problem.
