I hadn't heard any of that. Source for the Lewis' bad mouthing?

I still say Alonso will go for dough and sign with Honda, especially if Heidfeld keeps up this improved performance. Although if that's the case, BMW and Renault may simple swap drivers.

I dunno, two years with honda will make him major money, but also give him no chance of fighting for the championship for 2 years (guessing that would be the contract)

At BMW he will still make bucks (not as much as honda) and have a fighting chance, BMW should be far stronger next season, as they also have a good jump on the KERS systems.

I hope the rain stays away for this weekend.

haha, Lewis, you're a hard guy to cheer for.
Decent article on Alonso. I think if he wants a chance at the championship, he goes for BMW. He DID win 2 with Renault so you can't write them off completely either..

ah! wouldve been cool to race you. Perhaps when the next version comes out i'll pick up a PS3 again. Also Grand Turismo looks tempting.

I was quite good for a while, and I went on to other games and when I came back to it I was awful, and have since given up trying to regain my form...
I am currently playing Ferrari Challenge (like the real life series). Quite fun!

Ferrari Challenge! Yeah it seems fun. is it also online?

Hey do you do any real life go karting by any chance? I'm trying to join an indoor league here in Toronto, I think I found one about 30 mins from me.

I need racing in my life.

    http://gpkartways.com/

I hear they can go up to 70 kph in the open.

Only shitty go karts, and not too often (had an AWESOME accident (caused by someone else) last time, still have the scars to show for it).
70 kph is impressive! A league would be pretty interesting, I think.

Ferrari Challenge is quite fun, very sim. There is online but I haven't tried it yet. You unlock all the tracks by playing through each area season - seven or eight weekends in each of Italy, Europe, and NA, and each weekend consists of (default) 7 mins qualifying and two 15 minute races. I just finished Mugello right now.

edit - since I just finished updating the Canadiens thread, did you know Patrice Brisebois is an EXCELLENT driver in the Ferrari Challenge series? He isn't in the game, unfortunately, but at the 2008 MTL GP he drove quite nicely.

    strange qualifying
how could two of the best drivers qualify so bad compared to the rest of the field

Masa will win this one me thinks

the rain wrecks havoc on F1!

No secret that the cars/drivers aren't too hot in the rain, but Lewis was out in intermediates and I don't think he even tried with super wets...
    Vettel was impressive.

I know, but all things considered, youd think it would more or less level the playing field-obviously not
I thought he was out in wets. They made a run for the pole in inters thinking the track had dried out???

    should be an interesting race

    looking forward to it

    that start will be crazy!

yeah I guess they thought the track was going to dry up enough for him to clock a good time, but it looked like it didn't even stop raining

    SPOILER WARNING.

Excellent job Vettel, he earned it! Very nice driving.

Screw you Lewis, I had 3 gravel traps with your name on it.

Good job showing up for 10 laps Kimi, at least you're consistent ;)

I was reading that Kimi still refuses to back Massa. bad kimi! next is Singaore!
Apparently the long term forcast is in saying 60% chance of rain for the night race.

Vettel raced well but it was obvious that the pace car gave him the edge. nevertheless it should take nothing away from his race as he made almost zero mistakes.
