My saga continues as well. Gracie is 20 weeks old. She has gone from 10 pounds to 40 pounds. She went on her first "real" walk last night and did surprisingly well. As a puppy, she has a Sybil personality. She's "hunny bunny" one minute and "shithead" the next. She's coming along.

OK....the owner called me late Sunday and said that she had mapped out the trip to my house and it would be 4hrs !
She asked if we could them half-way to pick up the dog..I said no problem
We got there about 12pm and she came closer to 1pm...we talked for about an hour about Chloe..she is faxing over her vet records to our vet.
It was sad :( Once she had to give her up
We found out Chloe is not even 1yr old yet :eek:
She'll be 1yr. on September 19th...my wife's grandmother's Birthday !
Its weird all the connections with this dog
She was good on the car ride home...we introduced her to Bailey..Let the doggie wrestling begin
They get along great so far...she had a little accident last night but thats to be expected..the dog is all confused Im sure..only good thing it was on the tile by the door we let them out at
She was good overnight...they had crate trained her and said overnight they would crate her...we did the same..she cried for a little bit but then calmed down..she listens pretty well
She's a sweetheart....Bailey is in his glory with a constant playmate

Every where I go she's with me...as I type she sleeps right next to the computer desk...she is sweet
Funny this morning my wife got up and let her out and when she came back in Chloe jumped right on to the bed and on my head

They're young couple who work a lot
She is in school full-time and working 2 jobs
He works a lot and is on night shift
Her shifts range from 24-36hrs ! They just felt so bad for her and not being able to give her the attention she needs..they felt she was being neglected
They would ask friends and family to help with the dog (watching her,letting her out)
Here she'll be in constant company with Bailey My drinking team has a hockey problem

It's awesome that you were able to "come to the rescue" (pun intended). Keep us updated. As the owner of a 5 month old Golden, I'd like to think it's not just Gracie who gets into trouble. If I had known then what I know now...

Wiley was dumped on the side of the road on a very cold January day....my sis got her from the animal shelter. They figure she is about the same age as Petey, around 22 months. This was the first time they met, and they got along really good! Wiley put up with the big brown boy very nicely.

Wiley really, really looks like a wolf! A buddy of mine had two wolf-dogs.....they were kinda scary. :eek:If I had known then what I know now...
