Can't wait for Tuesday, should help take my mind off my poor cat for a while.
The deal the Flyers signed Carter to is looking even better now
 Carter is only 23
Malone is not worth $7-8mill a year for the first 2 years
Not to mention he played with MalkinMy drinking team has a hockey problem

Yep. as much as i liked malone they overpaid big time. And you're right tampa needs a goalie and d. Now they are going after rolston!
granted malone played with malkin but if they put him with vinny he'll be ok. Just not 7-8 million ok. and i hear he'll be with stamkos so that might not work out to well, malone isn't the speediest of guys and i hear stamkos is a bullet.
Good signing by tampa bay but the cost is a little pricey.0

The new owners are really making a push to be opposite of the previous owners I guess
By the sounds of it they're trying to fuse old vets and young guys
Still shocked really with the money he got...for a guy with 51 points as a career high correct ?My drinking team has a hockey problem

I think with TB is that, as compared to other southern US markets that do not have a history of winning hockey and have trouble keeping attendance high and those that do have a history of winning and have trouble keeping attendance high after that, TB has had a history of winning and does not have trouble keeping their attendance high, so instead of wallowing in another crappy year or 2 and seeing that goodwill with their attendance erode slightly to wear it is a major concern for the franchise, they have decided to be aggressive on the FA market and improve the team to solidify that dedicated fan base who keep their attendance above their comparables now and in the future.1998 ~ Barrie

 yeah no shit eh
I do recall him stating he would never play in Canada because of something the media did or a story that was going around up here, can't remember what because he is a tool.
Toronto seemed to be on the right path in making player personel decisions, why would they revert back to their stupid ways ?1998 ~ Barrie
