I totally agree. Ed's a pretty witty guy with great sarcasm...and sometimes that translates into people thinking you're deadly serious about things, when in reality, you're simply getting a rise out of people.MOSSAD NATO Alphabet Stations (E10)

Much like Ann Coulter. When you disagree with satire, it's hateful, when you agree with it, it's smart. And you ask me what I want this year
And I try to make this kind and clear

Are you honestly comparing Ed saying Fuck'em to some of the comments Coulter has made."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

at the end of it tho - i think what many fail to realize is how frustrating it can be for someone with convictions watching the lack of action against a regime that shits in the face of humanity ...
i guess before - many could listen to the songs and like em cuz they can garner their own interpretations but when it comes straight from the horses mouth that it is about this or that ... they just don't wanna hear it ...

They used the time how they saw fit. Apparently, the situation our country is in now is a wee bit more important that the meaning behind 'Lowlight'. The rest of the band are also politically active and are also big boys who don't need people coming here and posting their opinions for them. Show me anywhere where they said they disagreed with what/how Ed said what he did.If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

Ed saying Fuck'em and that explaining that he respects everyone's opinion is not even in the same ballpark, not even the same galaxy as some of the cold hearted god awfull gibberish that has come out of Ann Coulter's mouth."When one gets in bed with government, one must expect the diseases it spreads." - Ron Paul0 -

So throw in a laugh, patronize with some sorry shit about being tolerant, backpedal when you realize/see your mates reaction, and flippant insulting remarks towards fans is ok? Then after you recant your intial response, continue to wittingly/unwittingly further insult them by implying that if you dont see things JUST THE WAY that person does, you're wearing blinders? Interesting take on it.Why go home

I think you are seeing way more in it than I did. I didn't think for one second there would be these kind of reactions. I saw it as a joke.If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

NOt really..there's reality-which does tend to have a liberal slant, and then there is this world that cons see...its different, divided...us against them type of world. We're all here on the same planet, we need to learn to get along and not fuck up the environment and not go to war and so on.
So there's the right way to see things, ie, ED and 90% of the world's view, and a world seen through blinders...ie, cons and elitists everywhere.0 -

No point arguing that. You've got it all figured out. All "cons" see the world through blinders? Versus what? Your happy colored magic sunglasses?? How amusing must it be to anyone out there watching a bunch of psuedo intellects treating the words of a surfer burnout rockstars political regurgitation as gospel.
Do you honestly think 90% of the world agrees with eddie vedder? Really? Or is this just proof that 90% of all percentages offered are made up?Why go home

First of all, Ann actually makes original points. Ed mumbles something about the truth and picks up his pom poms saying that we need to get out there and vote, and everything can change. Wow. Thanks for the public service. And you ask me what I want this year
