Alright. Well, since you're incapable of actually defending yourself or anyone else in this case...

I just laughed. It's not like I'm giving the guy crap about it or anything like that. I haven't even brought the guy up negatively...just the idea of bringing god into sports seems funny. If that's not what you think he did then fine. I'm sure he is a nice guy.If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

like i said, i didnt see the speech, all i saw was miller's hard-on for the god-lovin post-game speech. if i got the wrong impression, i can hardly be blamed. do i owe tony a formal apology or something? becos im guessing his feelings are pretty hurt by the jokes made on the pearl jam bbs. or maybe i owe the apology to the christians around here with the persecution complex that act like i kicked their puppy by making light of this phenomenon?0 -

Thanks.
You're so welcome. I've been up so many nights in a row now I just can't concentrate on my defense. When I close my eyes all I see is angel terrorists. Surely you can forgive me.If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

I never said you owed anyone an apology. You just owe people becoming informed before spewing your hate filled rhetoric.
I'm only posting in this thread about it because like I said, I laugh often at these things and I got a totally different vibe and feeling from it. I felt glad for him when he said it.hippiemom = goodness0 -

Does that really need an answer? If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.

then maybe i missed out on something special. but the point was, i spewed no hateful rhetoric, my post was purely a tribute to my fav comedian, lewis black, and his outraged take on american culture. apparently, christians don't have a sense of humor.0 -

Your mother's a slut. Not because she is one, but because she dresses that way."Sarcasm: intellect on the offensive"

Yeah, I was just making light of your mother. Dave Chappelle's dialogue about sluts, and what they wear, is extremely funny. I hope you understand."Sarcasm: intellect on the offensive"

not really. dave chappelle is funny and that bit is funny. my post was funny. sadly, you are not. you see, you've got to learn 1) timing 2) set up, 3) delivery and 4) making the joke relevant to current discussion. plus, mom jokes are pretty weak in general. but ill give you a gold star for effort buddy. maybe when you get home your dad will give you a handjob as a reward.0 -
