How could anybody vote for Obama after watching this?

The last half of the video is all about reverend wright... That settles it for me, I'm never ever voting for reverend wright for president.

Barack on the other hand, I will vote for.

She was saying that she felt hopeful, and its fair for her to say that in her adult life she didn't feel hope in America. A lot of bad shit has happened. Don't take it too literally.
Its irrelevant what his pastor said for several reasons. First, he is not his pastor. Second, what ever happened to a separation between church and state? I don't care what his pastor said as long as Obama stands for issues relevant to presidency (i.e. not religion), as President that I agree with. Also, you need to look at his pastor's words in context, and again, not take them to literally. The guy is just saying, that blacks in America have gotten a bum rap (which is pretty much true) and that America needs to be called out on it.
The connection between Obama and terrorists is just plain ludicrous.
So there's a Che Guevara flag in one campaign office, and? Did he put it up? Did you find out why it was up there? Maybe he agrees with some principles that Che had, like change, but not all. Find out first
I loved how they had a black kid with a Swastika on the screen for thirty seconds. I wonder what they were insinuating with that... You know, cause it was so relevant...

So please tell me what was relevant and what about it was so bad about Obama that you learned from this video.

I don't think they should trot them out. They do it probably to help gain the support of some of the public. Its seems clear that this is important to some people, although I don't think it should be, and its not to me.

If he helped him on a spiritual journey that doesn't signify to me that Obama takes everything he says to heart. The human being isn't black and white. I think that a spiritual mentor can be completely cut off from what he believes politically and morally. But perhaps I do give Obama too much credit. This is just my take.

Also, while I think that Wright may be a racist, and I do, I think much of what he says is taken wrongly and out of context. My understanding of him saying "God damn America" is not "I hate America and it should be condemned to hell along with everyone in it that is not black". I understand him as saying the atrocities committed against blacks by America should not be overlooked, and not be forgiven until totally rectified. He might not be saying it in the most direct way, but he's there to inspire, and he's there to try and stimulate people to make them feel emotional. Again, its entirely possible that I am misunderstanding him, or am naive. But I think people's problems with Obama due to his pastor, are blown totally out of proportion.

You're right. I definitely agree with you on this, and I generally don't support Che, or Che shirts, etc. myself. I was trying to think of reasons it could be there, and you're right, my reason wasn't that good. But, like I said he didn't put it up, and like you mentioned he asked for it to be taken down. So that point is moot.

But, I disagree that he is vague on change. I think if you listen to his speeches, or read his books, speeches and papers; if you look at his website and what he supports I think he is very clear on what he wants changed.

This kind of thought (flag pins, hand over heart, and unchristian names) is everything that is wrong with the not so United States of America.

I disagree at the part where he the author thinks having discussion with other so called "terrorist" leaders is a bad thing.

The rest of what the guy said all 100% happened. Some of it is superficial, some not so superficial.

His spiritual mentor is a religious extremist. This is an undeniable fact.

Obama isn't the devil incarnate, but he is far from angelic also.

I like to see the points addressed as well...
