he obviously skipped over the numerous bonnaroo threads or is brain dead....

because we all knew that the announcment was bonnaroo and we all know that we don't get priority at festivals...

the only thing he has a right to complain about is metallica and obviously PJ has nothing to do with that.

    Esther's here and she's sick?

hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks

Can you buy tickets for individual days? I really have no interest in staying surrounded by mud/dirt/patchouli smell before or after seeing the boys play.

No, Bonnaroo does not sell single day passes.

HOLY SHIT! this is the news I have been waiting for. it's a sign, 2008 is going to be great.

So many great bands will be there, but Pearl Jam is my heart and soul.

    -Allman Brothers
    -MY MORNING JACKET!!!
    -Metallica
    -Mastodon
    -The Sword
    -B.B. King

and Led Zeppelin. Now Led Zeppelin is wonderful, no one by all means get me wrong...but I find them a tad bit over rated, and I'm afraid that a certain prediction may actually happen. If they charge an arm and a leg for those tickets I'm going to rape someone! not really, but seriously.

this is going to be indescribable.
    7/2/06 - Denver, CO
    6/12/08 - Tampa, FL
    8/23/09 - Chicago, IL
9/28/09 - Salt Lake City, UT (11 years too long!!!)
    9/03/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 1
    9/04/11 - East Troy, WI - PJ20 - Night 2

No blood no foul. I think a lot of people got their hopes up about a possible tour culminating at bonaroo. $1200 for two tickets don't jive with what I've come to respect the band for.
  • The SOUTH is NOT done! PJ is hearing us - all that live here. I will continue to have faith! And I like Canada - but they need to see their US fans first!

Seriously, this really is a let down. One Show? With the boy band of metal Metallica? And no Ten Club priority? Way to go guys!!! (clap clap) Way to show that you guys are all about your fans!!!

Here is my pledge, if Pearl Jam does not tour in 2008, I will vote for every Christian Conservative Republican I can, and will encourage anyone I can to do the same.

Pearl Jam screws up my year, I'll try to screw theirs!!! Go Huckabee!!!!!!!!!

    Huckabee isn't a conservative.

As for the show, I'm still on the fence. If the Zeppelin business gets cleared up and the actual LED ZEPPELIN is there I'm all in.

Any chance of a boot for those of us who cant be there?
I've got a Gibson without a case, but I can't get that even tanned look on my face...
  • I think the media is beginning to realize their error. Yahoo has already fixed their news article regarding Zep NOT appearing...

Perhaps they had articles ready saying Zep would headline ala how they have obituaries ready for dignitaries getting up there in age???

I can't gete over the fact that no matter what the 10C announces, there is SO MUCH BITCHING!! I'm glad they're playing, where ever it is they play and kudos to the people who get to go and enjoy it. For God's sake people, stop with the self-centered "if PJ doesn't play my back yard exclusively I'm gonna throw a tantrum" attitude!

Ok now, carry on with the pissing and moaning.

    Peace
    Just me
