What made you pick your Message Pit Name?

I don't recall ever seeing this here.

I picked Jammer because a lot of the clever Pearl Jam related names had been taken by the time I joined. We are all "jammers" so I just figured what better name could I pick? Why did you pick yours?

    A small group of friends in high school starting calling me Stephen Flow in my junior year... It kind of just stuck, but I'm not really friends with those people anymore... not cuz I don't like them, we just drifted apart.

    I picked this name in like 3 seconds...
    When I joined the BBS I was edie'sgrl (this was back on 2000) and then when we started the move from one board to the other, I tried to keep my name but someone had already created it, this was on the interim board between the BBS and this one, so my husband one day joking called me a HOT TAMALE (this was before we got married a little after we met on the board)... so my handle changed to that on 2003 when we moved to this board, you can still find it if you do a search... but then I had some issues with some guy I used to date before my husband, and my account was broken into, and got weird PM's so I stopped using that one and created a new one on 2005, which is this one, I dont remember putting much thought into it.

    My friends used to called me Mrs. Vedder in high school, I was the only one in my entire graduating class that liked Pearl Jam believe it or not. So I chose that....

    This is a great thread.... I pick mine using three PJ songs Dirty(Frank),Yellow(Led.)andOcean(s) put them together and you have my name plus, i think it sounds funny like someone took a leak in an ocean hehehe..... and yeah Im 28 years old! Sometimes its okay to act younger then you are!!

    when i first started getting online, i didnt have my own computer- i used the one at work. i wanted an email address, but thought i couldnt have one. my boss introduced me to yahoomail. he said to NOT use my name as my email address, but to use something that people who know me could remember.

    at the time, my license plate was MENSANE...a variation on the cypress hill song. everyone knew my plate, so i went with that for my email address...and then just stuck with it for my screen name.

    it's funny...when i meet people in person and tell them my screen name, they often say "oh..i thought it was pronounced Men-Sane....not Me-Nsane". some people call me Saney in person...lol.

    It was just Patrick then the board crashed yrs go and I had to pick another name. Well I had red eyes one nite and thus Patrickredeyes was born. lol

    I was kinda worried when I started to meet people off the board. Them thinking I'm this huge pothead cause of my name. But overtime those that have met me and those I call friends know who I am. I do enjoy my smoke time just like lots of you enjoy your drinking time. lol :D

    My real name is Stacy (stac) the E is my middle initial, the B is my last initial and well I think the 10 is obvious. Only problem it causes is that people think my name is spelled Stacey because of the E in the username.
