I first joined the unofficial official Pearl Jam chat room back when No Code was about to come out and I chose "aNiMaL" because I thought (then) than that, A) that was a cool way to tYpE it, and I really liked the Mupets character and Pearl Jam song, Animal, so that sealed the deal. That was to be my "online" Pearl Jam community name. When I joined up here around Benaroya Hall 2003, I stuck with the same name.
My boyfriend, at the time, called me Kenlers because my name is Kenlie so it just kind of made sense. Years later I haven't changed it because I wouldn't want to start over with a new name and new info.

I know this sounds stupid, but when I was in High School, I was so "in love" with Eddie Vedder that I though that some day I was going to marry him and my name would be changed to Nadja Vedder. So, I used to always joke around writing my name as nadja_vedder, I have always used it as a nickname and never thought about changing.
