Mine is pretty self explanatory :)

Love the song and "227" is just a lucky number that I use frequently.

i knew i was one of the older generation on the board - hell i didn't even feel like a grown-up let alone in my forties. now i'm 51 and still don't feel like 40, let alone 51!!!!! holy shit.

ditto........in my 40's but younger than ever.........

    does that make sense?????

    My criteria:

    -Music-related: From the Kiss song "I wanna rock & roll all night . . . ."

-PJ reference: Ed said his favorite misinterpretation of a lyric was from Mike McCready--"I wanna rock & roll all night . . . . and part of every day." I was at this show (Benaroya), which was extra special (venue alone!) and because it was one of their first acoustic sets.

-Mike-specific (he's my fave band member): This has always made me smile because it seems so genuine coming from Mike as a rocker. Of course it's rock&roll all night & part of every day--what else would it be? He probably never even gave it a second thought.

-Obscure enough that no one else will have it, but clever enough that those "in the know" will get it (thanks again, Ament'sChick!)

-Finally (phew!), it is self-descriptive. I do want to rock&roll part of every day!

hey like the funniest "misheard lyric" thing I ever heard of was when we watched the youtube version of yelllow ledbetter.........so funny.......

especially because I never understood the lyrics so when I hear the song now, I think of the you tube thing; it is so funny..........

Ohh, a great thread! Some funny stuff in here :D

I start using this name for some internet stuff ever since I came back from studying in Peru. Its is Quechua for "Lets be happy together" ...sort of like "peace", but put in another way.
Whenever I would say stuff in Quechua to the locals they started laughing (obviously). Was a real ice-breaker. But it seemed I got the most response with saying "kushikushun" to them.

AND the nice thing is, noone ever uses that word as a nickname.

btw "lets drink together" is "Uperkushun" and that nickname will for sure still be open...
Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?

I used to use my great grandmother's name as my username 'cause it seemed to reference Pearl Jam. Then I realized if family googled her they would come up with my posts.

Sea kindly changed my username at my request.

My new name, is what I am in a way.

I don't have a car, but I live in the city and love hiking. So, I hike around the city sidewalks, trails and parks. I'm an urban hiker and a total dork.
Walking can be a real trip

Oh shit. Is that you? I met you at MSG in 2003. You had a broken leg or some shit because I remember that you were on crutches.

    LOL! YEAH that was me!
I had broken my leg the week before the show at the MSG which was my 25th birthday so there was no way I was missing that.... so I rocked out on a cast!

Who are you? Did we stay together at the 30/30?

"Alive" is my favorite song and my initials are JLP.

(BTW, I love being on this board and hearing a PJ song come on the radio! WBCN is playing "Daughter" right now.)
    Dante: "You hate people!"
Randal: "But I love gatherings. Isn't it ironic?"

It's a combo of my two favorite bands.

I think I came up with it in the summer of 2003 when I was all over the country following both bands.
First show: 3 November 1993 (San Diego)...

Most recent show: 12 July 2008 (VH1 Rock Honours)...

Next show: Let's get a tour together...

Ten Club... you make me smile.

Well..... it's partly from present tense(leaning out to catch the sun's rays....) and I also love real sun catchers, you know like hanging crystals in the windows. I also live where there is a lot of sun and I love it!!!
