I hear crickets. Too much science for you?
Let me ask you a question...
It is estimated that mankind (as we know it today) is between 100,000 and 200,000 years-old. If there is a God, why did he allow humans to murder each other through tribalism and die at an average age of 25, then wait another 96-196,000 years before he felt compelled to spread his word in book-form to an illiterate people in the desert? At the very least, why not deliver the commandments to Asia, where they could read? Are you a screenwriter?

nathanastin wrote:The complexity of the human eye was created out of evolution? That's laughable.
As opposed to being created by some inexplicable spiritual deity? Yeah, evolution sure does look crazy by comparison... I really wish people would understand that scientific theories aren't the same as Sherlock Holmes theories. It's not a hypothesis of what might have happened - it's just a way of giving more info on proven facts (there's a redundancy).

So..
How long was Ed's hair?0 -
You know what, I should apologize for digressing too much. This thread was supposed to be about Ed and religion. So I'll leave you with a quote.

nathanastin wrote:Not really; all I know is how complex each human organ is did not just come about through chance and selection by nature.
You "know" this how?Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.0 -
I have the answer to it all..
Nobody knows. So no need to follow and preach something blindly. Take life for what its worth.0 -

High power is not
Man made religion is.

a little help here guys? Just because you're old doesn't make you more informed. But your religious so i should expect that kind of ignorant judging and close-mindedness from you, correct?

Whatever the answer is, just do that.
Well that was dumb.
So I guess you really don't have an answer huh? Good job.
You should have just said to me..I really have no idea...the only reason I am atheist is because Ed questions religion."I don't believe in PJ fans but I believe there is something, not too sure what." - Thoughts_Arrive0 -
Churches are a charity, you guys think that giving money is bad?0

People have been saved from their addictions to drugs, and others have changed from horrible pasts because of their found faith in God. SO tell how that is wrong.0

And people have been tortured and killed in the name of god. Just like everything thing else that has people involved in large numbers, there's good things and bad things.0 -

It's not dumb at all. It's the exact same concept. Your inability to grasp the concept makes you seem dumb, but I'm not going to call you names.
I've been an atheist since I was a little kid. It has zero to do with Ed. There you go again, giving one entity credit for something that has nothing to do with them. You seem very adept at that. Are you a screenwriter?
