    that song and their performance was so great. wanted to post that night, but was at a loss for words...only in awe of such greatness.

    went to bed with sweet dreams of Eddie telling me that he had some if I needed it. :D;) of course I looked at the lyrics beforehand to confirm they were more political than sexual, but a girl can dream.

    anyhoo...

    cheers to all yous seeing em' in concert! I'm hoping to be at one sometime next year.

    I don´t care any shit if the song sounds like Devo. For me the song sounds like PEARL JAM, and it´s a fuckin´great song....

    riffs and melodies are always gonna sound lifted and copied at some point...was it a conscious decision??? Probably not....should we expect an explanation.....probably not.

    this conversation never happens with Led Zeppelin and their version of Dazed and Confused which was CLEARLY a ripoff of the original version( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTsvs-pAGDc ) ....so whats the difference with it now??? Nobody give Jimmy Page shit...and he has never admitted he did it....why should we expect Eddie or anyone else???

    Well i just got back from my hol & watched the performance on Conan & i think its an excellent song.Is it just me or does EV look a bit plump in the face? Hope the rest of the album is in a similar pace

    I just listened to this again for the second time today.

    I just wanted to say in this thread that I fucking LOVE this song!! Hope the rest of the album will be as solid....though after 18 years with this band, there is no doubt in my mind at all that i will love the new music. Cannot wait for a Seattle couple of shows!!!
