I was thinking the same exact thing, it would be a good way to see if we can nail it down

I'm not altogether sure Eddie knows/cares about the tour itinerary this far ahead of time, much as he seems to revere the Spectrum. But it can't hurt to ask!

Just found this- Know its been posted but since it seems relevant... Jeff does say they have to hurry up and finish the new album so they can play the Spectrum....and the album IS finished...sooo

    From the ESPN chat:

Tony - Philadelphia, PA: Hey Jeff! Any chance you and the band will play The Spectrum before they tear it down in a few months? Philly would love to see you guys help close out this historic building.

Jeff Ament: man...I love the Spectrum...it sounds incredible for a big arena, the way that the garden and the forum do....we gotta hurry up and finish this record so we can play the spectrum...
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

Yeah...this better not happen in November when I'm in San Diego. That would not be cool. It's worse enough I have to think about these series of shows getting in the way of the WFC's making their campaign of defending said WFC.

Ok, I posted in this thread somewhere earlier, but have since received some very exciting news. Ok, so, as I previously said, I have a good friend who works for the Wachovia Center/Spectrum and they told me that Pearl Jam was playing 4 shows at the Spectrum in October. Well, I was recently able to see the Wachovia Center/Comcast Spectrum calender of events, and Pearl Jam has 5 dates on hold at the Spectrum, October 27 - 31. Right now it is only a hold on the dates so my friend tells me that there's no contract is in yet, but that, even so, it's practically guaranteed. In case you're wondering, Bruce is scheduled to play the Spectrum earlier in October and Phish at the end of September. There's nothing scheduled at the Spectrum after Pearl Jam, so it would appear that Pearl Jam will be the last band to play the Spectrum.
If I knew where it was I would take you there, there's much more than this!
