BIG NEWS PHILLY????

I don't post but........A buddy of mine......His sister works for Comcast-Spectacor.....He sent me a text last nite..........Spectrum 5 (yes 5!!!!) nights......No set dates yet......That is all the info I have.......Again, take it for what it is worth.......

    Me neither. I suppose if these are the only 5 dates in the north east then maybe it would make some sort of sense, but that is still a lot of shows for PJ to play in a venue that big in any one city. Even 5 shows at MSG would be a stretch.

    The only way they come even close to selling 5 arena shows in one city out is if they offer fan club members a package to buy tickets to all 5 shows and they sell 7,000+ fan club seats to each show ... even then, that's a lot of general public tickets to sell.

    What I am hoping is maybe they asked to have 5 nights blocked off while they make tour plans and they will confirm 2 or maybe 3 of them.

    i heard this last fall from a friend who works over there, cant see it happening though.
    Small my table, seats just 3, its not crowded, its just lucky me

    I am with everyone....I will beleive it when I see it....Just relaying a message sent to me.....No bullshit about his sister working for comcast-spectacor.....She has been investegating this for a while.......Not sure why she would say 5??? I am sure she didn't jsut pick that number???

    I think they could sell out five Spectrum shows, especially over a weekend, but am not sure why the band would want to do that. Maybe to play its whole catalog or something else rare/unique?

    (Yes I know they did that in Boston, but that was two albums ago.)

    I heard 3 shows...I reported 3 shows...I NEVER heard 5 mentioned. I will stick by my earlier report..3 shows in September.

    Oh and Lukin...you know you're welcome to stay at my place :)

    isnt it kind of established that the fall will see a West and maybe South tour?

    Im not expecting any more East stuff to happen this year.
