Heard my confirmation today from my source. It's not exactly the same days we had been speculating, but it is definitely during the last week of October. The 30th and 31st are reserved for Uncle Bruce, however. That's all I'm at liberty to say.

Just trust me kids: It's happening. And it will be oh so beautiful. Putting it on my boss's calender tomorrow.

Can you give a hint on dates? I wanted to put in for dates at work, easier if I have a few, then can cancel
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

I was shocked at what an absolute armpit that city was when I was there for the Ed shoes. Not sure I can bring myself to go back....if I did I would just stay by the airport.

everyone knows that philly sucks and is an absolutely awful city but most of the people are decent (even if they root for awful sports teams- especially the flyers) and pearl jam is there often. its less than a 2 hour drive...if they're there, i'm there.

Based on what she said, it is probably safe to assume that these shows will be on the 26, 27, 28, which is Monday through Wednesday.

i love how many of you philadelphians have penis envy when it comes to NYers. philly is a glorified town, its not that i can't stand it, its just that there isn't really anything special about it. its lame. however, its nice that there's another "city" that is less than a 2 hour drive for me. its very convenient when my favorite bands go on tour.

i'm gonna let this thread get back on topic. it shouldn't be a pissing match between you and i. obviously new york is a superior city. glad that's settled.

you don't need to get defensive, i'm sure many people from philly would agree with me.

Ugh ! a Rags fan...could be worse if you were a Islanders fan

I couldn't give 2 shits about NY..I've been there plenty of times to see PJ

I don't really think you can bash a whole city just because certain areas are bad..there are plenty of crappy Ny areas as well

Its funny to me how NY'ers have to constantly say how much better their city is..lol who has the penis envy here

You're entitled to your opinion..hopefully you get shut out for tix..;) j/k

Honestly, no, I don't. NYC is cool, but overpopulated and overwhelming to me. I've done the tourism there and all and that's all I need to do. If I never visited NYC again, it wouldn't disappoint me.

It's also the attitude of NYCers like yourself that makes me and others get turned me off. And there's no need to place Philadelphia is quotations. What makes it not a real "city?" I'd love to hear an intelligent answer.

wow, people are f'ed up. Philly is a great city to visit. Love the museums and there is always great art all over on the streets and in the parks. The flower show every year is the best on the east coast. The streets are kept wicked clean (most anyway). and I have been there countless times and have never had any problem. I live 20 minutes from NYC and I go there all the time too. Two totally different kinds of cities and I love them both.
But fight on guys...its entertaining to read.

So I will just put in for vacation the last week in Oct and hope for the best.

Having grown up in NYC and now living in Philly for the past 3+ years I can say that they are both great cities. Philadelphia has a much smaller and personal vibe and well, NYC is NYC. You either love it or hate it, I love it. What I don't get is why many people from NYC feel the need to shit on a city that they have spent almost no time in. Philadelphia has incredible history, plently of entertaiment and great dining (even better than NYC in my opinion) at a much lower cost of living. One of the best parts of Philly is the location, with it only taking a couple hours to get to NYC, Baltimore and DC.

I spend almost every summer weekend in NYC at Yankee Stadium and wouldn't have it any other way. That said, I love living in Philly even though I despise every sports team. It is a great city and you should probably spend some time here before you make stupid comments.

its not entertaining, its classless by the nyc'er really. A city is a city no matter what. All cities have ghetto's and rich area's. Nyc is smelly just like every other city. I love the city of philly but hate the sports teams.

I visited both cities this last time and thought they both sucked; sorry. NYC is so overrated. It's crowded, dirty, and smelly. I would live in neither, but that's just my taste. Now Boston is another story. That's a great city.

I hope they play Bridge which is October 24-25 and then Philly on 27-29. I'll be traveling back East on the 26th so couldn't make a Philly show on that night.

Where is Bridge??? SD? LA? SF?

I love both Philly and New York . I'll happy attend shows in either city.
