    I'm very sad to say that I'm not going to be able to attend ACL due to an injury taking up all of my paid time off and my wife switching jobs...If anyone wants 2 reasonably priced tickets for Sunday, PM me!

    For some reason if I can't make it which could happen maybe. :(

    The way they have announced these shows has caused a slight problem with seeing this show.

    But I hope to make it. :)

    If I don't I'll have 2 Sunday tickets for sale for face value.

    So as I mentioned earlier in the thread (way earlier), I'm heading up down from the Canadian prairies on my own and I'd definitely be interested in some sort of a meet-up. Anyone know of anything going on?

    Hopefully this doesn't sound sketchy. I'm a frequent lurker, but rarely post on these boards. I can assure you I'm not a serial killer, though.

    Keep lurking. With so many people coming from out of town and so many folks who live in Austin (more than I realized!) there's got to be some things planned. :D

    I'll be there for sure! I haven't bought tickets yet because I didn't know if I'd be able to attend, but I'll try to find some cheap 3 day passes. And then there's accomodation...

    I think these festivals are pretty difficult as far as formal 10C meet-ups go. I don't think as many of us are going to this one and for example, I am driving down Friday, maybe early Saturday, hanging out with friends, hitting the show Sunday around noonish and then heading home early Monday. A lot people are going to the festival all three days or two days, etc.

    Similar for me. We are going down Friday to meet friends and going to the fest only on Sunday. But I brought it up because I think there still might be informal meet-ups that people will post about. This thread is as good a place as any to announce them since the news might get lost in a separate thread.

    I saw they were playing at Stubb's on Thursday, I am flying in Thursday afternoon/evening so I am not sure if I am going to be able to make it. Hope so though.

    This is awesome. I was so disappointed with C3 for replacing the Beasties with YYY's but this makes up for it 100 times over!
