    Updates...

    So Jeannette, Maggie and I had a meeting on Tuesday with Moretti's and it went fantastically well!!

    The Moretti's crew is very excited to have us back again and are going all out to make these fundraisers a huge success! Outside of making sure their doors are open for us Sunday when they are normally closed, they are keeping the bar open until 3:30 AM on Sunday night & Monday night.

    So after the concert on Sunday night when you're all sweaty, hungry and high off of an amazing show, hop on the Moretti's shuttle and return to the bar to discuss the concert w/your friends and grab a bite to eat & some celebratory beers.

    We are trying to see if we can get shuttle/discount cab service to/from the Hyatt and Moretti's.

    We're also looking into beer sponsorship and getting some shot girls :mrgreen:

    For those 21 and UNDER.... you are very much welcome to attend the fundraiser prior to the show, so no worries about getting denied at the door.

    There will also be Pearl Jam themed drinks and drink specials, Pearl Jam on the sound system and Pearl Jam DVD's running continuously along with all the usual sports news & games.

    Maggie took some great photos at Moretti's and we'll have them posted here today/tomorrow. In the meantime, here's one I took from the back patio of the United Center from my cell phone (crappy quality)

    We are going to be looking for sponsors for the raffle and auction - so if you have any connections with businesses or the like who would be interested in donating, PLEASE let us know!

    Laura, thanks so much to you all for working so hard on this and putting this all together. I am sure these pre/after parties will be even better than 2006, which were fantastic. Looking forward to seeing you in Chicago. I am bringing one of my buddies, so you can add another to the list. Just over a month and counting. See you soon.

    It's funny... we were actually talking about you and some of the other fans we haven't seen since '06 on Tuesday! :D It will be great seeing you again and hopefully your friend will have as much fun as you did!! :)

    Oh he will have a blast, he is an old friend that has never seen PJ from anywhere but in the far back sections and that was years ago. That is great of Moretti's to open up Sunday and stay open late. I hope they have some great beer and food specials because I plan on eating, drinking, and having a great time.

    The only thing better than a preparty is an afterparty. :)
    I usually try to keep myself in check before the show so I can enjoy everything and not worry about missing "Rival" because I had to pee or something.. But after the show, all bets are off. ;)
