Got a sixer of this for Father's Day:

Anderson Valley makes my all-time favorite beer, Poleeko pale ale. Sadly, that beer is no longer anywhere to be found around me.

Oh well, I don't drink much anymore anyway. As it is, I need to dump out about 15-20 beers from a cookout I had last Labor Day to make room for this new six pack that will likely die a similar slow death in the back of my refrigerator.

It would be nice if my wife and kids knew me well enough to notice that I haven't drank a beer in our home in nearly a year.
Oops. I posted the wrong beer. Finally putting my Father’s Day beer in the refrigerator, and it’s actually this one.

And to make room for it, I dumped out a whole bagful of these, which were well past their “best by” dates.

I struggle with throwing beers out. It's tough isn't it? Those are good ones too. I'd probably keep them.

Whenever I have people over, even though I always have good beer in the fridge and more good beer on tap; people inevitably bring their own and there's always a lot left over that just sits in that garage fridge forever. It's mostly crap beer that I wouldn't buy myself and just would never choose to drink over the other stuff that I have.

But then when I'm draining and tossing them out, I think back to how 22 year old Juggler would never think of getting rid of beers by any means other than pounding them himself. Getting old has it's perks but it also blows!

There he is! I was just thinking the other day about how the teacher was posting daily updates and this year, it's been crickets around here.

Did the "Reach Around IPA" taste shitty?

IPA's are just too damn heavy for me these days.  I have two and I am all bloated, i've been sticking to wine and vodka.  The reach around was awesome!

Been drinking this one a good bit lately. Excellent porter imo. Tastes kind of like an alcohol infused Reese's peanut butter cup.
