Weekend trip to the Hudson, New York area. Went to Hudson brewing company and I must say it was delish!  I had a flight and really enjoyed the double IPA and the IPA (pictured).

Was in Michigan for a wedding over the weekend.  Stopped at a nice, little brewery called Greenbush.  They had really good BBQ on the menu....craft beer and BBQ is the perfect combination.  Stopped at 3 Floyd's on the way home and scored 2 cases of zombie dust and a case of gumballhead.....will be drinking some great beers for the next few weeks.  Good stuff.

I've been trying to tell anybody who will listen that Greenbush is legit AF! Their BBQ is solid as it gets. And I love that it's in such a quaint little town with the Annex just across the street.

Greenbush for some food and beer before making the hour drive to 3 Floyds to pick up Zombie Dust is the perfect brewery day. Only thing I'd add is heading over to One Trick Pony (about 10 minutes from 3 Floyds in Lansing). If you're and IPA or BBS person, you'll be fond of this joint.

Yes sir, it is. Exit 12 in MI out of IN. Maybe a 45 minute drive from the IL state line. Not too bad of a drive from Notre Dame either.

New brewery in Marlton, NJ, Zed's. Had a couple samples. Not bad but $22 a growler.

$22 is nothing. When Avery opened their new brewery outside Boulder a few years ago they had growlers priced from $16 - $100
Public uproar caused them to rethink their growler prices.

$100?  If it was barrel aged for 2 years then I get it, but no new beer is worth a damn $100...

I believe the top end were for the barrel aged beers like Mephistopheles and Tweak. Both of which can pass 18% abv.

Avery hadn't  done growlers at their original location so didn't know how to price them.

Bear Republic makes some pretty good stuff.  One of my favorite beers is their El Oso, an amber lager.

One of my favorites!  I've knocked down many 6 packs of anti-hero.  Do they have that for sale out by you?  I do remember hearing that Revolution was going to be available in the NYC area.
