    Another Jammer from Victoria! I got my delivery confirmation too, says Wed the 18th but not sure if i believe it! Anyone know the deal with duty for these? Are we gonna get dinged big time?

    Duty / Taxes will be a b1tch though ...

    March 19th here in Edmonton. I can't believe they finally went to bat for us Canadians for prompt shipment. We may actually see it before official release rather than a month late. Thanks a ton Ten Club.

    As for those complaining about Customs, this shouldn't matter much that it is UPS. Basically Customs are just the local taxes you would normally pay plus an admin fee (typically $5 or so bucks). The admin fee is a bitch when you bought something cheap because it is such a large portion of the overall fees, but on a $140 item, it's less than what the actual taxes are. I'm guessing customs (if anything) will be about $12-$25 depending on your provincial tax. Also, since it is only one item, often they waive the customs fee.

    shipping via UPS makes all the difference when it comes to Customs charges, seeing as how in addition to the 13% tax (within Ontario) charged to the consignee there are also UPS Brokerage fees as well as UPS handling fees. should the value be declared as US$140, i'd expect an additional UPS invoice to arrive in the mail shortly after delivery for an additonal CAD$50. also, Customs fees are never "waived for one item",...

    Hey guys...

    Mine said it will be delivered on the 18th as well...UPS/Ten club should have taken care of any duty or customs clearance issues...It would suck if they all get stuck at Pacific Truck Crossing and we have to go get them...but I'm sure that's not gonna happen....Wednesday can't get here fast enough!!
