Aww...the Duggar family...and that pic was BEFORE they had their most recent 3 girls!
P.S. At least the Duggars can afford their kids and aren't in debt, let alone on welfare/food stamps. This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

Many college educated people are out of work. Plus, who wil be taking care of all those kids while she works. She sounds clueless as to how much this is going to cost. Even with a good paying job, there is no way she can afford them. I am betting that she is betting on one of those TV series that are on now about multiple kids as one source of income and commercials, etc.
“I know I'll be able to afford them when I'm done with my schooling,” the 33-year-old single mom replied.
That line cracked me up... How the fuck are you going to have a job while taking care of 14 kids? Is she that detached from reality????
and even forgetting who will take care of all those children while she works, there is also the small matter of what JOB does she think she can actually get, all on her own, that will pay enough for her to AFFORD to properly support and care for 14 children, some of whom are special needs....on WHAT salary? a counselor? i can think of very, very few jobs the average citizen, even with a masters degree, can get that actually pays the kind of salary to support such a family, with zero assistance. oh, that's right....it's a-ok for the taxpayers to foot the rest of the bill, simply 'b/c SHE wants a large family.' nope....not selfish or irresponsible. puh-leeaaasssseee.Stay with me...

It seems unfair to the kids. And I think they need a father. That is why it normally takes a man and a woman to create children, cuz both are needed in different ways. I didn't always think this. I raised my kids alone, but with age I now know they do.
Time will tell about this entire thing.
EDIT: I missed the part about she lives with her mom. I'd be pissed if my daughter did this while living with me. I can just imagine being expected to be a live in babysitter and adding financial support. I raised my kids and would not want to raise theirs. Thats just insane! This chick is out of touch, period.
Don't only that, but the hospital bill ALONE is $1million+. She is straight up delusional. This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

Actually Larry King did have Kate onto talk about raising multiples when the story of the octuplets came out...but before the world found out the mom was totally insane. This is the greatest band in the world -- Ben Harper0 -

i know, i know...but i already explained...fuckin' nobody. just a tax-paying citizen in this country.
in reality, it is not just *this woman*...altho i think most of us agree, she's out of her friggin' mind. the thing is, it's a poor example. sure, others 'milk the system'...but to THIS degree? and it's NOT just about abusing the system, it's about willingly bringing into this world...8 more babies.....KNOWing you cannot properly care for them physically, emotionally, mentally, financially....i really don't know of one person who could do so, solo. THAt is utter selfishness to me. i think it is an abuse of IVF, and of the 'system' at large...let alone these children. as i said earlier, about the only 'good' i can see possibly coming out of this is, instead of leaving it merely up to the 'ethics' of the prospective mother or parents...or the doctor...that perhaps some LAW limiting the # of implantations allowable and/or more stringent laws in regards to IVF in general, along the lines of adoption. i think that's fair and logical, and in the best interest of all involved. i think it's criminal to choose to go out of your way to have children you can't afford. take care of the family you HAVE, and preferably on your own dime.....before looking to have more, and don't expect to have more 'just b/c you can'...b/c it's not right for all of us to take care of you. having children is not a god-given *right*...it is a responsibility. there i go judging again, i just can't help myself.Stay with me...
