  • No longer in the Philly area and haven't been able to catch any of the replays on the NFL Network. Vick aside, how is the team looking? Is the O-line holding up? Whats the first team D look like with McDermott calling the shots?

    d line looks solid
linebackers are a mess without stu
secondary should be dominant. strong saftey could be an issue, but i think they have enough talent there.

    o line is in shambles
the weapons on offense is enough to make a defensive coordinator's head spin
    donny looks great thus far.

McNabb suffered a broken rib today. Hope he's okay.

McNabb suffered a broken rib today. Hope he's okay.

apparantly Carolina is allowed to hit our Quarterback when he is on the ground and injure his ribs - same thing in the NFC Championship a few years back.

Awesome performance by the offensive line - for missing 2 starters and never really playing together in the pre-season they were great. Defense was impressive to.

And he was in the end zone too!

Was there a flag? Will that Panther be suspended?

So glad that the Eagles went out of their way this offseason to make mentally unstable offensive lineman Shawn Andrews happy by signing his brother and trading for his college roommate. He missed 2008 training camp because of depression. Played two games last year before herniating a disk and then missed camp again and now is out for the season without stepping on the field:

At least he has time now to work on his freestyling career:

The Eagles need to give up on him and stop waiting for him to regain the promise he showed 3 or 4 years ago.

I think this is just the prelude to him being either a) traded in the offseason (don't know who would take him thought) or b) outright cut.
I think we can expect to see Runyan back within the next week as soon as the Eagles can unload Baskett or Brown to make room.... but even then they'll have roster moves to make when Vick is eligible for week 3.

I'm not trying to be funny here, but I have some pretty good connections saying that one of the biggest reasons he wasn't at training camp was not because of his back. Not trying to make a joke here, but it's allegedly because he's homosexual and that his teammates would rip the shit out of him(figuratively).

I've heard rumors like that too... would explain a bit but still not a reason to basically walk out on your contract. Plus if that was the case and the Eagles management knew of the harassment, he'd have one hell of a lawsuit.

Difference is, I was talking about it after the loss. ;)

Besides, no shame in a two point loss to the defending division champs. Cowboys need to tweak a few things and prevent the turnovers. That's all.

    Eagles got destroyed yesterday.

I've never seen a more overrated QB in my life than Tony Romo. Your D gave up nearly as many points as we did, and we were without a #1 QB. Second game of the season, and frankly not that worried. Losing a divisional game would have me more worried. Not after week 2 with KC and the bye coming up. Now beat it.

Our passing game is sick, but our running game - or run blocking - is questionable.
