What a sick sick draft i love the picks so far. This offensive if healthy will be the best in football by a large margain.
best in football "by a large margin" ???
Brady, Moss, Welker, Galloway, Fred Taylor and the 4 or 5 other guys the Pats got would like to have a word with you.
U have no clue what brady will do coming off a serious injury, moss and welker are studs, galloway is a washed up bum and fred taylor was cut so i'd say that mcnabb, westbrook, weaver, shady mccoy, desean jackson, kevin curtis, jeremy mcclain and brent celek are much more of a scarier lineup.
gentlemen....the jeagler has officially proclaimed the eagles as favorites to come out of the nfc this season.
the jeagler's off season analysis:
dawk's replacement is younger, more athletic, will create turnovers and will play the position as opposed to a hybrid linebacker. i like this sean jones kid. him and demps will combine for more turnovers in the secondary.
leonard weaver...we finally got a top notch full back
stacey andrews...the man is a beast. whether they keep him at tackle or flip flop him with his brother, the right side of our line is younger and better.
jason peters....another beast on the other side of the line. left tackle is now more younger and better. our o line will be one of the best in the league. i predict they will run more effectively too. runyan and thomas were great players, but clearly on the downside of their careers. and with their creaky knees and achy back, it was more difficult for them to run block. i have a feeling runyan will come back as a backup which will help with the leadership issue.
ellis hobbs. quit your bitching sheldon. we now have your replacement. reuniting the corner duo from the nfl's only undefeated, 16 game season, team will only help matters. plus this cat is a monster at returning kicks.
the draft was phenomenal. sure, i wanted boldin too. but you know what? there is a reason he is still a cardinal. i think we got potentially the best receiver in the draft. thank you al davis, you magnificent idiot you! maclin has great hands and speed. once he gets his route running down he will fit in great with djack and curtis and basket/avant. people think he is small like jackson, but he's not. he's about average for an nfl wide reciever.
mccoy is going to be special. we have westbrooks future replacement and current compadre in the backfield. he catches the ball great out of the backfield which will net him lots of playing time this year.
i also like cornelious ingrahm, the tight end they got in the 4th round. would've been a day 1 pick if he wasn't hurt. not the best blocker, but i he has great hands and could be a good redzone option for donovan. plus with our o tackles being so good, having a good blocking tight end is not as big an issue as it was before we got peters and andrews.
this "macho" harris corner back has a lot of potential too.
so we addressed all our concerns. i think we are better on both sides of the ball and on special teams. i see 11 or 12 wins right now. this is our best team since 04. cannot wait till training camp.
why is baseball season so damn long??? i want preseason NOW...
Jeagler--like your analysis by the way...but "gentlemen and ladies" is more accurate ;-)
touche m'lady. touche.
nothing wrong with watching the WORLD CHAMPS play a little baseball though. you are an american aren't ya?!
i am indeed! :-) I'm not opposed to going to baseball games--that's always a good time. the pace is just too slow. there's so much time between each pitch that I get antsy. and, there are fewer amazing plays, whereas in football EVERY play has potential for something awesome...what's fun about watching an outfielder just standing there waiting for a hit? I'd rather watch a WR run his routes!
Some might call this biased, but the most passionate fans in all of sports are without question Philadelphia Eagles fans. They're cold-blooded and probably give KC a run for their money as being the loudest. They are by far the most knowledgeable fans in the league, and invented the perfect "boo." What cemented Philadelphia fans' reputation as the most amoral, loathsome collection in sports is famously called The Booing of Santa Claus. You would boo and throw snow balls too if Santa came out drunk in a half-done costume. Eagles' fans must deal with sports owners whose actions have not produced a champion in 25 years. The Eagles haven't hoisted a championship flag in 48 years, but the waiting list for season tickets is so long that you could sell out three stadiums full of Eagles fans for games.

stinks that westbrook is having surgery. hopefully he's back for the start of the season!
I got a pair of endzone seats, 2nd level for the Eagles and Giants on Nov 1st. Will be a great way to close the weekend out if PJ does close the Spectrum as heavily rumored on Halloween.

I didn't even try.. usually have an easier time (and better luck) making a few phone calls then refreshing the TM page on singles onsale day. You got some nice seats for a nice game though.

Thanks - never gotten single tix before so didn't know what to expect. But it's a nice early B Day present for myself.
