well then, m' lady...they were saying on WIP today that the eagles have tons of cash to spend, but the free agent crop is pretty weak, they may not spend much at all....doh!

here's the jeagler's offseason plan (i forget if i posted this here or not), anyway:

WR: call the cardinals, offer up a 1 and a 3 and bring boldin to town....
OL: move andrews to RT, sign tra thomas to a 2 year deal and try to find his replacement in the draft. im okay with the rest of the line
RB: use the other 1st round pick on a big back to compliment westbrook and to be his successor
TE: im okay with celek....go find a back up blocking TE in the draft
DL: need to find another pass rushing end. but i heard peppers is probably staying in carolina. hopefully abiamiria will continue to progress. but if you cant get peppers, find one in the draft. we need to get to the QB without blitzing
    LB--we're good here
SS: sign dawkins to a 2 year deal and draft his replacement....i'd use our 2nd rounder on this.
Kicker: bring in some legitamate competition for ackers

and i would sign mcnabb to a 4 year extension.

    go birds.

I agree with most of your moves except McNabb. He'll be 32 this season and has 2 years to go on his contract. A four year extension keeps him to 37. At most I'd give him a 2 year extension.

no no. i mean guarantee the money for the next two and then give him 2 more. basically ripping up his current contract and giving him a 4 year deal starting today.

Well no Jordan Gross for the Birds... Carolina signed him to a 6 year deal AND franchised Peppers... although I don't want Peppers especially if he wants to play in a 3-4 defense.

Boldn knows Arizona is asking too much...he has no choice but to play nice in fear they might not be able to trade him

i'll be a very unhappy Janet if Dawkins leaves.

(on a random side note, Jeff Garcia works out at my gym, and shopped in the store that I work at. of course, i didn't see him either time, but i'd love to talk to him)

Dawkins hasn't tackled anyone with anything but his head for the last three years this is a good thing for you guys. His "leadership" was a joke...or at least didn't get you that far. Now he'll be John Lynch #2 for the Broncs. As for Garcia, he's kinda very good friends with my wife's Uncle, and he seems to think Garcia's done for what it's worth. Though he said that last year too.

check out the last half of that video and explain to me how this video would be a demonstration of the most dangerous form of creating contact if you were to teach a young player to tackle - nearly every single play he's made in the last 3 years has been headfirst. Sure that leads to HUGE hits, but it's dangerous and technically against the rules - therefore B-Dawk, Weapon X, or whatever you want to call him is a cheap shot artist. As for claims that he was some sort of great leader how about you look at the 2008 Eagles as a tremendous waste of talent, and that they would have been pretty freakin' good with or without him. I'm telling you it may hurt losing someone you rooted for over the last decade, but getting rid of this joker will be good for you.
