No scratches, Merkin? Flea loves to do that but I’ll get bloodied if I give in
No, she starts off relatively gentle, I just need to know when to quit. If I persist, I’ll end up w/ a few scratches. (Usually when I’ve had a few drinks and / or she needs her claws trimmed, both of which would be my fault )
This weekend when I was out of town my cat sitter brought a little dog she was fostering to my apartment. She said Daisy was fascinated by the dog and kept trying to play with it. She had never seen a dog before. I think the fact that the dog was so tiny helped. She probably thought it was a weird looking cat.
So Kali hasn't really touched her wet food in the past few days. No idea why. She still eats her dry food though and once in awhile i'lll give her human food like lunch meat or something. Maybe she's sick of the diabetic food, lol

My cats are funny w/ their food & when they eat... one's like a horse, the other seems to survive with barely any.
As long as they're acting normal, I try not to worry too much about it.

One of my cats gets like that. All of a sudden he will stop eating his food that he formerly scarfed down. I think he gets sick of the same food. When he does that, I will give him a new flavor, and he will usually eat that. I switch it up every few months. He is also on a prescription food that has a few different flavors and textures - so that helps. Maybe try a different brand or flavor of the diabetic food. Also, a little tuna water mixed in helps has well.

Zoe does that sometimes. She struts around wanting you to know how beautiful she is and looks at you for a treat... So I get them, lol!
Orin is precious.
Meanwhile, back on the ranch…
Can’t believe she’ll be a year old in a couple weeks.
& HBD to Flea.
Flea’s hopped up, as she typically is this time of morning. She’s hilarious. Note the tongue
