Now where are Rose, Bernard and any other survivors from the flaming arrow attack..
I asked this aloud last night. My wife is getting confused by the time travel, so she was no help...I need to watch the show with all you guys.

I've been distracted all week trying to win tix to the secret U2 club show in Boston next Wednesday, was actually happy when the preview said "in 2 weeks", so I won't miss Lost...of course I haven't won tix to the show yet.
Yeah, I'm wondering about Rose and Bernard too. We know a lot of the other survivors got blown up when they first got away from the beach and ran into Widmore and his group in 1954. But I'm thinking that R&B are still around. Remember when Goodspeed told Sawyer that he could have 2 weeks to look for the rest of his crew? I think that they found some other survivors and they're all happy Dharma campers at the moment.

Another thing I'm wondering about. People obviously used to be able to have babies on the island. What changed? Did it have something to do with the bomb that was the buried and leaking radiation? Or I'm wondering if it has something to do with Ben's arrival there? I like the second theory because I love to hate Ben.

Sorry about your U2 tickets. Blame it on Ben.

I am with you on the bomb theory and Goodspeed, LOL

    Apparently....it's two legs.

My friend suggested that Rose and Bernard made their way to the caves and that they're Adam and Eve. Apparently, the writers said that Rose and Bernard won't die off-screen, so I'm sure we'll get their story soon enough.

Me too, especially if it turns out to be Tawaret, the goddess of maternity and childbirth.

Aww, poor Richard Alpert. :) He doesn't wear eyeliner; he just has ridiculously thick eyelashes.

It has been driving me (and my roomates!) crazy trying to figure out where I've seen Goodspeed before (aka Doug Hutchison). It's not "what was he in"...it's "what WASN'T he in". I think I remember him most distinctly in The Green Mile.

I watched this episode (LaFleur) again last night and I noticed that the Dharma people have their FIRST names embroidered on those attractive jumpsuits they wear. When Locke went looking for Horace's body in the pit he found him by the name on his jumpsuit.

I just read something really interesting on a LOST board. I totally can't take any credit for this find but it's pretty symoblic, I believe. This screen cap was from LaFleur where Sawyer is walking up to Juilet's house and picks a flower.

You can't see who's playing and the board quickly goes out of focus, but where is the white King??

so who is the baby boy who was born to Amy?
Too young to be Locke or Ben. Notice they didn't mention the new baby's name.

I say the baby is Ethan. He's about the right age...the baby was born in 1977.

Not sure what that could mean. Either it's symbolic or someone is very sloppy at setting up a chess board.

But there have been other things like that--Locke playing backgammon, the black and white stones found with Adam and Eve.

Exactly. Black and white have played a significant role throughout the series. Locke made it a big deal when he was playing backgammon with Walt. Sort of a yin and yang type of thing....contrasts...faith vs. science.

And, I don't think it's any coincidence that it's the king that's missing.

This may be another "it's just me" things but the last few episodes that have featured Kate, she has really started to annoy me. She has just been so bitchy and awful to nearly everybody. I can understand getting irritated with Jack (WHO WOULDN'T???) but then she does a complete about face and apparently discards "her" child so she can run off with him (well, OK, she's probably running back to Sawyer).

She was terrible to Locke when he came to persuade her to go back. Couldn't she have just told him no without being cruel and insulting? At least Sayid was friendly when he turned Locke down. I thought she was kinda mean.

I used to be a Skater but I'm starting to think she and Jack deserve each other. They could build their own hut on the island and whine together every night.

I was under the impression Aaron was taken away...not that she "discarded" him. But, I agree, she was horrible to Locke.

Well, I said "discard" for lack of a better word. Whatever the case, she didn't seem all that broken up about him being gone considering how up until then everything she was doing was based on MY SON MY SON MY SON.
