    i like the fight though. depending on what they do in the next week, with everyone mostly healthy now, maybe they can at least make things interesting in september.

    Don't even bother with the standings. Getting back to .500 is the goal for now.

    The one fun thing about this season is it's nostalgic. I remember as a kid (except for the mirage season of 1993) I'd read the paper in May thinking "Okay, 4.5 games back of Atlanta, need a win today" and by July I'd be like "Okay, 13 games back of .500, need a win today."
