    i didn't mind the braves back then since that was before the dumb realignment and our nlcs with them. what a fucking series that was. my god. that was phenomenal baseball in those days.

    I have never met a more nostalgic baseball fan than you. If the game could go back to how it was in 1917, The Jeagler would be a happy man.

    It was cool that you actually had to finish in first place to make the playoffs. Otherwise I like the way baseball is now. But that was an unbelievable series. 1991 was too. 2 straight 7-game series.

    Unlike the 2 straight 5-game beatdowns the Phils put on the Dodgers. :D:D:D

    that was cruel...but that was also something unique to baseball back then which was real cool.

    that pennant race with you guys and the braves was a thing of beauty. the entire 2nd half of the season was literally the playoffs.
