ho hum another series win, even with a whopping 5 runs. weather supposedly heating up this week to so should be a fun week at the ballpark.

Welcome back Chase. Be smart with this and don't try and kill it before the All-Star break. Be interesting to see what Charlie does with the lineup. I'm guessing he is slipping chase right back in the 3rd hole with Polanco back to 2nd?

Chase and Joey Votto on the same field, Fixer is gonna need a cold shower.:lol::lol:

Will be there tomorrow with sales reps, should be fun. Utley and hamels are the only two phillies I really like, so looking forward to that.

I don't even know what to say about that offense

Haha that would be great. One of the reps I am going with is a yanks fan so I could get away with it.

Could it be that 2009 was only 2 years ago?

Wasn't there a year when no starting pitcher made it 8 innings vs. the Phillies?

I've been unsure of what to say about this. Such a heart-wrenching story. I just can't even imagine what that family has gone through.

While I wish Howard wasn't slumping and didn't K so much and hit better off lefties and blah blah blah, it's nice to know that we have a lot of guys on this team with excellent character.

8-9 so far on this rough 20 game stretch against teams with winning records.

not too bad considering who has been in the line up for most of those games.

A trade will be made, there will be more production out of the 5 and 6 holes in time, things are not fucked, we're FOUR MONTHS from even smelling October. If and when this team actually starts hitting - and I'm not even talking a lot(like 4,5 runs per game) - look THE FUCK out.

Well they hardly ever give up more than 3 runs, so they don't exactly need to be the 1929 A's hitting out there.

Just read this morning that Blanton is signed for $8.5M next year as well. Want to talk about horrible contracts? I'm happy that Worley is getting the next 6 or 7 starts.

amazing what having legitimate major league hitters in a lineup can do. lineup looks a hell of a lot better without valdez batting 2nd and sardinha in the lineup.

as for this wisconsin fiasco thank god i wasn't interested in those anyway. congrats to any here who got thru and got them. enjoy it.

what possesses adults to make signs? seriously do these people have such boring lives they sit around and think about making signs? just add it to the list of things people do that i totally don't get.

really liked charlie's lineup last night. Really like Brown and Mayberry 7th and 8th. spreads out the offense a bit and adds speed to the lineup and the bottom of the order. this team needs brown and mayberry's speed and athleticism. keep it going boys.

    what's up, bitches?

I have unfortunately not been able to keep up with your thread. Just this last page was enough to make me laugh. See you again in October? my boys have a +3 run differential thru 48 games and a 3.5 game lead. WTF? talk about a high wire act.
