Plan on seeing that this weekend! Did you watch The Wire by chance?

Frankensteins Army(2013)- Not bad at all.

Shaky camera in spots, POV camera style may turn you off.

    Detachment

 It's really really good... kind of weird... I think I used every facial expression possible while watching it, and said "Jesus!" and "fuck!" and "whoa...?" a lot when I watched it. Fairly transfixing. Maybe a bit self-indulgent for Adrien Brody... but damn, do I love Adrien Brody. :)

Project X, the titties and beer one, not the dead chimp one.

It was pretty stupid. I didn't like the main character from the beginning.

I caught the Wolverine last Friday. It was plain bad. Although it was better than the steaming pile of crap that was Origins, this one left me feeling like I wasted $11.25. Pretty much the only redeeming factor in this film was the post-credits scene.

A documentary called "Better This World". It was a good one. It's streaming on Netflix, look into it!

I keep seeing Project X listed, and keep getting excited about seeing Matthew Broderick bond with a chimp, and then I'm all let down when I realize it's just some titty and beer flick.

My plans fell through tonight. :( But it's not so bad, because I watched "The Bourne Legacy" and I thought it was pretty awesome. I thought I'd miss Matt Damon, but I didn't. :)

    The Godfather.

Never gets old. I'm on a Francis Ford Coppolla kick. Went out and bought the Godfather Trilogy restoration box set today and will be watching the Godfather II shortly.

    It insists upon itself.. :P

I have to admit, i can't even get through it. I have tried and tried to, and have worked on trying to see what everyone sees, and i am fully conscious of film appreciation and everything, but I think that movie sucks.... the acting is very good though.

    The World's End

It was good but I actually felt a bit disappointed at the end. It's one that could easily wait for dvd, it doesn't have to be seen in the cinema. Maybe I was expecting too much after Hot Fuzz and Shaun Of The Dead...

  • Okay, it wasn't the last movie, but most definitely the scariest and most disturbing I've ever seen in my life. I recommend watching in the daytime with others. It was called Sinister--with Ethan Hawke. :corn:

And I would like to go on record and say that my friend, Laura, is a complete bitch for having me watch it. She is a horror movie fanatic so is now immune to them. But, I on the other hand, am still human. Its definitely one to skip just because of how disturbing it is, with the respect of families in general, which I still have. God help her soul.

Robert and Frank- very good! Stars Susan Sarandon and Frank Langella (who I think is amazing) and its funny, sad and interesting. Its about an old man who used to be a cat burglar. His son buys him a robot to take care of him and i wont say too much because i dont want to ruin it for you all. Great flick, totally recommend.
