The Intouchables. I really enjoyed it, a lot more than I expected to if I'm honest. Definitely one that I'll watch again

The wife put on The Happy Poet (netflix streaming)

One of the worst piles of shit I've ever seen. And half way through, I noticed the wife was sleeping! :fp:

I could've been watching blood and guts the whole time.

 i never got a chance to see the Lone Ranger also, not sure if it's playing near me also, will have to look into that.

Into The Wild (i had never seen it before  ). Caught it on netflix finally. Liked it a lot. Emile Hirsch did a great job. And the soundtrack wasn't half bad either ;) :corn:

Batman and Robin. . It blows.

I saw that piece of shit in the theater. The only Batman movies worth a damn (talking the 80's and 90's movies, not the reboot or the old Adam West movie) are the first two, with Michael Keaton. It was all downhill after that. Clooney and Kilmer would probably have been good as Batman if the movies hadn't been complete crap.

 This film ranks as a so-good-it's-bad.

I went to see The World's End t'other day. Not as laugh out loud as Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz but its a great, entertaining film. Worth a viewing.

I cannot wait for the Alan Partridge film :D

They filmed The Way Way Back here in the town I live in last summer (Steve Carell has a place here, spends a month here every summer), so I am interested to see it just for the scenery, glad to hear its decent.

I pulled an all nighter to make sure I didn't sleep through the Ticketmaster on sale time yesterday, So I watched movies all night to stay awake.

Olympus Has Fallen - so bad it was funny. I like Gerard Butler but that movie was ridiculous. Also don't know what was up with his American accent in this one, it's usually much less noticeably learned.

Jack Reacher - Tom cruise looks weird topless. Robert Duvall was brilliant. Movie was just ok.

Drinking Buddies - This is like a hipster romantic comedy if that's a new genre that exists. Stars Olivia Wilde, that guy from Early Editions, and 2 other actors i recognize by face but can never actually place. It was cute, definitely not as painful as most romantic comedies, and had some genuinely funny moments that looked like improv to me. Also, Olivia Wilde topless.

Breakfast on Pluto - Really good movie. Wish I had subtitles cuz I get the feeling I missed a good amount of funny when I couldn't get what they were saying. But very very enjoyable. Great music too.

Chick flicks to make the wife happy. But I actually liked this one:
A Little bit of Heaven. Kate Hudson is very charismatic. And Lucy Punch has such an interesting face.

The Beginners. Great acting. Good movie.. moved very slowly however... Ewan McGregor is great, and the French girl from Inglorious Basterds was endearing.
