Thought it took a while to get going, but enjoyed the 2nd half more… original is an all time fave, this one is a solid sequel, lacked the originals impact

    worth seeing though

I have a fetish for apocalyptic/dystopian/end of humanity films. Good or terrible, I love them. This is almost in the realm of a classic one by now, lol. One of my go-tos when I want to relax.

Same here, it’s just such a quotable movie. So many great lines.

  • Disturbing film, felt tense throughout, just what you want from this kind of movie. James McAvoy is awesome as usual. Recommend

Maybe the most obscure Wes Craven movie I've seen. Pretty bad, but oddly compelling, and I kind of enjoyed it. I am quite positive that Tubi's source was an old VHS tape in terrible condition - not kidding at all, lol.

Really really enjoyed this. It reminds me quite a bit of The Voices with Ryan Reynolds (RR's best movie IMO). The characters and script and style have this exaggerated, almost cartoonish quality like that, which nudges the movie into the dark comedy genre a tiny bit... real dark. Although really it's a... murder mystery crime drama psychological thriller???? In any case, it's definitely the first movie I have seen about a stenographer, haha.
    This is also on Tubi.

I saw it too. It was pretty good. Exposing those (paid for) DEI meetings/dinners/etc. is something that needed to be done. Those poor people are brainwashed to the highest degree. I actually felt bad for them. And the Jussie Smollet parody was hilarious, as was the Robin DiAngelo interview. But I also felt at times that the hidden camera aspect was what worked best and that he didn't add much to those situations. Like when he was interrupting in that meeting in the beginning where they eventually threw him out, or dropping plates during the white guilt dinner, I didn't think that added much. I get why he did it. He has to be involved or it's just a hidden camera spying thing. But that hidden camera spying stuff was the most interesting thing.

Fucking classic. I saw this in the theatre with my parents at 8 years old, and always LOVED it, and never get sick of it. My fantasy is to go through hell and end up looking gorgeous from it, hahaha.
The Jewel of the Nile is possibly the best follow-up of all time. It is hilarious, despite the weird religious factor.
