(your are so lucky living on the US (at least in the big cities) having cinemas showing old films.

I really wanna see it. But no friend wanna tag alone. And in the US it was showing in cinemas ”far away” from where I was at. Well well.

Did you like I Saw the TV Glow? That’s a strange one, but it worked for me and I loved it.

I feel like the final scene in the kid’s bday party was so sad and terrifying for the character. The high schoolers in my theater did not understand it and were laughing (not my kid, he loved it).

I didn't leave thinking it was great, and I didn't think it was bad either.  I read some reviews saying it was incomprehensible, but I don't agree with that at all.  It made perfect sense.  Good atmosphere and acting throughout.  Clear allegory about the US and Rome. Glad I
saw it.  People have to watch and decide for themself if they like this or not.

Fucking classic. I saw this in the theatre with my parents at 8 years old, and always LOVED it, and never get sick of it. My fantasy is to go through hell and end up looking gorgeous from it, hahaha.
The Jewel of the Nile is possibly the best follow-up of all time. It is hilarious, despite the weird religious factor.
After seeing this post I decided to watch this as I’d never seen it before. I was quite young when it first came out and over time just never watched it. An enjoyable 80s action adventure movie. I’m a sucker for this genre during this period of time. Thanks for the recommendation! Highly enjoyable! 7.5/10.
Next chance I get I’ll also watch Jewel of the Nile.

    Goldfinger

OO7 kick lately. Next will be Thunderball. Not sure if I saw that one yet.

I always liked Roger Moore as Bond. The Spy Who Loved Me was one of the first films I recall seeing a bond movie in a theater.

Okey. I go by myself next week! Not a fan of body horror. But a fan of "unique" films and unique trailers

Maybe one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, goes nowhere … says nothing, waste of talent.

    ^hope you're healing nicely, I.

I saw that, too, but appreciated the masterful, artistic performances. Plus I got to teach Pipsqueak about poetic justice.

Watched based on a rec from my French father. Elegant, gothic horror which is terrifying in such a subtle and tasteful way. Loved it.
