    Star Wars The Force Awakens

Aside from the obvious "derivative storyline" piece, it held up well.  Was a fun movie to watch.

Next, Leia and he skywalking bullshit in TLJ.  I have watched parts of it over but the whole thing only once since the movie theater viewing.
Will be interested to see what I feel like this time.

How was this? I am just reading all the Harry Potter books and catching up on the movies... I know, late to the party. lol
But I figured I'd watch the Fantastic Beasts after...

On that note, Im finishing Order of Phoenix and I am thoroughly impressed with how close the books are to the movies.

Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

I have no idea what the hell happened in it other than Jude Law played a young Dumbledore. I have a hard time with the Wizarding World. I guess it might have helped if I had seen the first Fantastic Beasts film.

Outside chance that would have helped you follow the story just a bit.

Because I liked the first night at the museum a lot, the second one happened to be on this weekend and I watched it tonight. It also was fun, especially Hank Azaria's character.

    The Descent

I had never seen it before and was looking for a action/horror movie to watch today. Luckily it was on Amazon Prime. Overall it was pretty decent. Few jump scares and the cryptids were cool. I only had a few minor problems with this.  And sorry spoiler alerts.

What happened in the beginning when the other car crashed into their car, were they charged with vehicular homicide or were charges dropped cause he was distracted and veered onto the otherside of the road?

Also it was pretty predictable that Sarah was gonna be the sole survivor. Was kinda hoping at least one other person made it out with her. That would have been unexpected. I know there is a sequel, might check that out next if that's on Amazon Prime.

The Descent Part 2 was on amazon prime so just finished that. Part of me liked this one more than the first one. Started off slow but the ending was pretty awesome and unpredictable.

    The Cabin in the Woods

Hadn't seen this in awhile. Was on Amamzon Prime. Funny thing, somehow the settings were on some weird one. For the first 45 minutes I had a narrator talk of what was going on each scene. I was like this wasn't in the movie was it? Eventually somehow turned it off although I had no idea what i did to do so.

    The Rise of Skywalker.
Not sure how I feel about it yet.  I enjoyed some of it and some of it was just ridiculous, even for Star Wars.
I am happy to finally have seen it.

No, my wife asked that I wait for her once I didn't get to it in the theater.
She then had to watch the last two so that she would remember / be ready.

You would think that would be easy, but life gets in the way sometimes.
In the past I would have made it a priority....but for whatever reason (the Princess/General Spacewalk in TLJ?) I wasn't super fired up to see this one like pretty much every other one.
