Yeah Ghostbusters is my favorite movie ever and Afterlife was good nostalgic fun. But this was pretty disjointed. Dan Aykroyd was the only enjoyable thing for me. Weird plot. Too long. Lots of stuff I’d cut right out of it (Slimer, Phoebe’s ghost friend). And the climatic battle was a let down.

The Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, and Finn Wolfhard characters are kinda useless. Phoebe is a good character, but I didn’t like how they used her in this.

Charming in places. But not very good.

Prime has the weirdest selection of films. But also the most fun.

I saw it today and enjoyed it. It will never be as good as the first two but it was decent enough, especially for five bucks. but I do see your points, though I liked Bill Murray's scenes.

Yes, I enjoyed it. The lead is great, and the best part about it is the level of commitment to the early 80s late night show wars vibe. Reminds me of watching Johnny Carson growing up.

Story wise you can see where it’s heading, although a bit of a twist at the end. So it’s nothing revelatory but it’s well made, love the lead getting a chance to step out from being a character actor. I had fun.
